Too much light?

I am currentl running my Biocube 29G without the original hood. I have a Sunpod 150W original 14K, I also have a Sunpod 70W with ushio 20K. I like the color of the 20K but I want my corals to growth spread so I am using 150W 14K at this time. I feel that the light of the 150W only concentrate in the center of the tank. Can I move the 150W 14K to the front of the tank and add the 70W 20K behind it? Is this too much light for a nano tank? Any comment would help. Thanks, Benny

My tank goes down to 78 at night and on hot days goes up to 83. At 83 I cut the lights. What is the limit for temp in your opinions? I would start to add ice and get worried at 85.

At 85 my clownfish start breathing hard somewhat.

IMO 85 is is the extreme limit. That's when all of the sand creatures come out of the sand and start moving to the top of the tank. I don't worry at 82 or less but at 83 I start reacting as it can take time to stop the temp rising. (Might push 85 by the time it starts coming back down)
