luis Posted July 25, 2009 Share Posted July 25, 2009 It is time to change the UV bulb in my 15 watt Gamma UV filter. As I look at replacement bulbs on line, they look like they are the same size for the 15 watt, and the 25 watt bulb; though I can not find the dimensions listed for either of them. Does anybody have experience with this brand and size of UV filter, and if so is there any reason I could not just replace the 15 watt bulb with a 25 watt one? My tank is a 125 gallon tank. The only reason I went with the 15 watt size is because I could not fit a longer filter unit in my sump. As it is, this one only fits with some pushing and shoving.
