racefan
I did not put this in the vendor review section because I assume that's for LFS type reviews. Anyway, here's my story.I bought a Koralia #1 in Feb. it has pretty much lost it's flow. You have to put your hand right in front of it to feel any flow.I tried soaking it in vinegar for about 1 week, tried letting it run in a 5 gal bucket with a bleach solution for about 3 days, all to no avail.I e mailed Hydor's customer service not expecting a whole lot since i do not have a receipt. They responded asking me a few questions & when I told them it was never run on a wavemaker etc. they sent me an e mail today & said send us the powerhead & when we get yours we will send you a new one! Can't beat that kind of customer service!

Michael7979
Wonder if they have had problems with the #1's or all of them? Or is this their usual way of dealing with problems?

I've never had to replace any of my hydor phs but I did lose a couple magnets once (scratch) and they shipped them out no charge. Fast too. downhill_biker
they did the same for me with 2x koralia 4's. great company. my 4's had major voltage leaks. they had me send them in, checked and confirmed failure, and sent me brand new ones. tidalsculpin
I think the koralia pump has changed the reefing hobby dramatically. Seems like it is the bread and butter of powerheads these days. It is a good thing when a company makes a good affordable product that they will stand behind.

USCG CWO
Has anyone tried their controllable ones with their controller. Can't afford an MP 40 but might be able to pull off two controllable 3's and the controller.
