coralreefaquarist Posted June 9, 2009 Share Posted June 9, 2009 ok i thought these were purple peopleeaters when i obtained them. but im not positive. they came from way lower light so maybe the skirt will be greener in a while.here they are in 10k like lighting. and this is more like a 14 k what do you guys think? stylaster Posted June 9, 2009 Share Posted June 9, 2009 as i understand it a PE is determined by the zoanthid being closed if it has radiating stripes on the stalk (usually from the mouth down a couple mm it is then a PE. Those are pretty nice, try zoaid.com to find name for them. I think yours are due to the semi closed polyp i see stripes on it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
impur Posted June 9, 2009 Share Posted June 9, 2009 I can see the striations Roy is talking about on that polyp in the bottom right so i would say they are definately a PE. My guess would be RPE (Red People Eater), there are probably 5 or 6 morphs of RPE out there. You should have asked me when i was there!
