  1. A horse of course I added another horse to the stable. I didn't need another car, but didn't need the quad that I had either. Former owner was the second owner and approached me with a trade. Started restoration 8 months ago, have no idea if I'm going to drive it daily, park it for weekends or sell it. Here is the 1955 low milage chevy 210 wagon. Added HEI ignition, split the manifold and running duals, repaired/replaced several panels due to rust, went through the mechanical systems and tossed a ton of new glass, chrome, stainless, tires and by Feb 1st will have all new uphoulstry. . . to this. . .
  2. I use a small mj pump in my ato to stir kalk
  3. Not if you have calculated your rate of evaopration and mixed buffer with the total ATO into the system. It should work better than dumping it in once a week in a lump amount.
  4. There are a ton of good artists out there, but Clay (claythesavagefraser.com) is not only AMAZING, He is a Forum member, active in reef keeping and you will have alot in common to talk about when sitting for 4 to 12 hours to do a large piece. He may even do trade!
  5. Are you selling your smaller nano?
  6. baffled? ""I have a few micro bubbles in the display, guess I did a bad job on the baffles and the pump area seems way to small now. Time for a new sump "" Jacob, can you shoot a better pic of the baffle area? it looks like the last baffle -to- pump box is at a 45 degree angle and is causing a cascading effect into the return. The baffle chamber before that area seems clear in the pic. If so, eliminate the 45 at the top and see if that helps. You could also stack another full piece in the design which may help.
  7. Is there any hope they will come to Oregon? http://www.delish.com/food/recalls-reviews/in-n-out-goin-to-texas?gt1=47001
  8. Look at gas bubble disease. There are several versions of it and how it affects horses. I used some extra fiber material to cut down the micro bubbles in our tank and has helped after the first one passed. . You have a PM regarding rehoming a seahorse
  9. I have seen his set up and it is NICE!!! Everything is well thought out, routed and hospital clean. The display, empty, would be a nice show piece with the doors open! Mark; Where did you move? Still have your bike? If you need help posting pic's email them to me? Start a thread on the tank sale....pic's don't do it justice I know, but it will get the ball rolling.
  10. Sounds cool. I'm gonna check compatibility with my others and may pick one up.
  11. Roger, use a 1" wide piece of acrylic 12" long, heat it in the oven at 180 for 10 min ontop of a 2x4. Pull it out and make a 1" 90 degree bend the 1" 90 bend at one end to hang over the sump. At the other end bend a step large enough to drill a 7/16 hole for the mechanical float switch. Zip tie the line to the bracket in a large loop and hang it in the sump.
  12. More patients now, better results later. I'm glad you are doing it! You seemed so excited ,but bummed hat you were going to have to wait awhile. Just think....the 90 will make a great QT set up when you get the big one rolling!
  13. Ahhhhh horsepower to weight ratio is a beutifull thing.
  14. Congrats budy! Its great to watch you accel in your career and your life! Now we just need to get your Dart going.
  15. He has moved across the country. PM me if you want to get ahold of him with your # and I will pass it along to him. . Sending him a txt now to check the thread
  16. Just put a piece or two of rock in the bottom of the bucket, gobies and shrimp will hide, top swimmers wil do fine. I would transport the nem's in a second bucket.
  17. I have battery pumps, but it sounds like it's just across town....no worries.
  18. From what I have read on here and other forums in laymans terms it's like dog food. If you have a dog with a sensative stomach ( corals and fish are sensative) and you just switch foods on the dog, you can no longer clean up the backyard with a shovel and must use a spatula or hose. I haven't heard of killing anything other that one guy that experienced zoo's melting, but couln't pin it on the new salt switch. Everything just retracts for awhile until the shock wears off. I just try to ease in the mixture and keep the shock load down.
  19. Remember to mix salts 50/50 for a couple water changes over a couple weeks. Don't just switch from one salt to another, gradually introduce the next one and you shouldn't have an issue.
