CuttleFishandCoral
For anybody using Kent salt the last batch had pretty high alk on our testing~11.8 dkh. Also the calcium was lower then normal. It’s always a good idea to test any new batch of salt before using it. 5

Exodus
no surprises there at all. That's the exact reason I stopped purchasing Kent, when my 12 Gallon nano had a rapid drop in Alkalinity. Tested out a fresh mixed bucket at 3 ~ 4 dkH. I would think they would begin to implement better quality testing, it just takes a quick search on google or Reef Central and you will see this has been a known issue over the years, but needles as Jeff pointed out test "Every" batch you mix.
