Thank you for correcting my vocabulary!! I did mean lurking, not trolling. hahaha! i love seeing the pictures of everyone else tanks!

Sorry I haven't responded, been a bit busy with the holidays flying in as fast as shooting stars on a clear night! 

So with myself being new one here  i'm going to ask a couple silly questions, is this a meeting that is open to newbies as well or do I need to become a member in order to attend?

I'm hoping to get my first tank setup next year but would love to get involved and learn what I can now.

My name is Niki and i'm just here for research to hopefully get a tank started by next year. (need space first). 

I have been trolling a bit through the forum and have been getting more and more excited about starting a tank! I had betta's, guppies, comets, glass catfish, and blue rams when I was high school, and absolutely miss having a fish tank. 

Any and all information is appreciated and will be absorbed.  I haven't ventured into marine tanks yet, but being much older now i'm ready for a good challenge! Shrimp and crap i have been told are a good starter for the new hobbyist in saltwater. 

I recently visited Paradise Coral and was just in AWE of the coral collection. BEAUTIFUL. As well as the fish. Gorgeous clown fish and tangs. 

Hoping to make it to Cuttlefish and Coral later today! (since it's after midnight when i'm posting this.) lol.

This is beautiful! Inspires me to plan for a seahorse tank one day! 

Day 1 was a good day for pictures and additions because that's my birthday! 😅

I'm sure most people just use google to search and recommended links for reference, but some days i'm old school and can't stand staring at a computer screen. 

Anyone recommend any books as good references for keeping an aquarium? I'm a total noob with salt water.

I'm excited to have found this site.

Currently I work in fab manufacturing semiconductor chips. Night shift which makes life interesting. 

I used to have a 10gal guppy tank in high school, and loved it. Now I want a larger tank and a few larger tanks down the road, as well as salt water. So i'm excited for all the topics to read and hopefully friends to be made! 🙂
