    Estate sale in Vancouver

    For anyone in Vancouver there is an estate sale posted on FB that looks to have some serious saltwater hardware by the pictures. They have it listed for today only from 9am-3pm. I’m headed out of town and won’t make it. They don’t have the equipment listed in their list so someone will probably score nicely.

    Ryan I looked for you a little over the weekend. Seemed to miss most people there. Hyper focused on all the goodies and seminars I guess.

    I’ll also upload some more photos this evening. Some amazing designs.

    Banded Cat shark care

    I have a 180 gallon fish only tank with a cat shark egg and just wanted to see if anyone had any first hand tips on care or what to look out for 

    I do. Getting on an back to PDX now. You can pm me later and I’ll give you any tips/care I do you want.

    I found out how to slow down time....

    You know as you get older, time goes by so fast?  I mean, what happened to summer?  It just started like two weeks ago and now its September? 
    Well, if you ever wanted to slow down things here is the way...
    Go fallow on your display tank!!!   
    "Hey Brian, how long have you been fishless"   " Hmm, its been like 3 weeks or something..let me check my notes... ummm, its been 10 days" 
    "wow, those fish look neat, when do they go back in the aquarium?"    "some time this month... its been like over a month, let me check again"... I have two more months.
    It as if time is standing still.

    70 gallon RR Marineland cube (30" x 30" x 18" high)
    Custom made 39 1/2 high stand 
    Lil sump with Ehime return pump
    All plumbing needed to start the tank
    $350
    Looking for some kessil 360wes or 160s I'll take as part trade or if you have a few, full trade.
    Also lookin for a kessil fuge light, possibly a mp40Qd.

    So did he eat the small hermit (or snail) that is under him?


    Most likely he did. That picture was from my first saltwater tank. He looked all sweet in the shop... took him a while to come out of his shell when I put him in the MD. I walked away. Came back a few minutes later to see him literally running through the tank, grabbing shells and ripping out any inhabitants. Crabs and snails alike. He killed a couple dozen by the time I got him out. Threw him into the penalty box in the sump.
