I'm needing a LED light for a 60 gallon cube. I wish I could afford the higher end, but if anyone has one for sale, or laying around, I can do some cash, and maybe trades? I have 1700 gph pump and probably some other stuff. Let me know what you got. Closer to Salem area would be awesome. Thanks!!!

The drain line has 2 holes already drilled. I just drilled another small hole in the top, and it seems to be working perfect now. Thanks all for the pointer, videos, and advice. I do appreciate all your help!!

I was also reading that maybe the pump that is being used is to much. It's a 1200 gph pump for a 60 gallon cube. The pump was running a 72 gallon. Maybe a smaller pump? Thanks everyone!!

Thank you.  I will get some pics when I get home. I hooked this up the exact way I took it apart 2 days ago. There wasn't any valves in either line, and it ran very quietly. I drilled a hole in the return line last night and added a small piece of air line to no avail. I really appreciate the help.

Sounds like you need to read up on different overflow styles. Research Herbie, Beeman Animal, and Durso. You need to figure out how you plan on running your overflow. How many pipes do you have going to your sump? That will determine your options.

Just 1 pipe runs to the sump. I took all of this off a system that was up and running yesterday, with no issues. 

Hello. Just set up a new tank today, and its acting like it flushing. The sump will drain down, then a rush of water comes rushing in, sounds like its flushing. Tried drilling a hole and inserting a piece of air line, but still doing it. 1200 gph pump, maybe over kill? Thanks for any advice!!

I have a 55 gallon acrylic tank I want gone. Got it for free, hopefully someone here could make some use out of it, or something. It was patched out the end at one time. I'm told it holds water just fine. Let me know if you want it. Thanks!!
