So I am wanting to break down my 20gal nano and put some of the rock with mushrooms in my big tank. But some of the rock has bubble algae. How can I get rid of the bubble algae without getting it into my big tank?

Red Sea. 

Red Sea and Hanna. Hanna are definitely better but cost much more. 

Cuttlefish and coral for sure. 

I use Red Sea test kits currently but should have the Hanna reef set here today or tomorrow.

Hard to say for sure but if more than one coral is showing signs, I’d do a water change and swap out (or put in) some new carbon. Nothing in the levels you show indicate an issue, the plate looks like it’s bleaching too.

 

Also, make sure your heater isn’t broken and leaching crap into the water like mine did 😡

It definitely has started to bleach. Did a water change and changed out reactors. Heater is fine. The lights on my cheato reactor went out and took me about 3 days to get new one on there. Could the cheato dying have done that?

Not a lot. My other corals are starting to look mad also. Like I always can tell with my torches if something is wrong because they won’t extend as much and also can tell by the tissue going down I call the trunk is starting to shrink. 

Oh yeah pretty sure I put this in the wrong post in the wrong place. 

Been trying to find a happy spot with my lighting would to much or to little light cause this? 

What would the main reason for coral starting to brown? My water test as follows 

ammonia 0

nitrite 0

nitrate 5

phos 0.04

alk 7 steady

interestingly, the chaeto itself gets covered in slime and hair algae as well 

Mine also gets slime algae in mine. Works great.
