    I have a feeling this is purely being caused by my HOB filter. My tank is recently cycled, should I change out my filter pads? Throw some filter floss in there?

    You need an overflow so you get surface skimming. You can’t get the stuff off the surface with a HoB filter. I had a tank with a bad [language filter] canister filter and tons of flow and had the same problem.

    Anyone wishing to exchange frags at the January Meeting?

    I’m coming up to my first meeting and I’m going to be bringing a few frags. I just want to know if anyone is interested. I have a red/green grafted cap, one JoL frag, strawberry fields monti frags and possibly some euphylia. I’ll post pics tomorrow. Anyone interested in trades?     I'm looking for a piece of minefield cyphastrea. I had some in my old tank and got rid of it when I broke it down.

    I apologize, I posted this and haven't checked since the end of September. With getting married and honeymoon the tank took a back seat.

    I bought a 2 3/4” stick of this over a year ago. I’ve grown out so much sps right next to it, but it’s maybe 3” now and rarely fuzzy. The rest of my sps has great polyp extension. Any ideas on why it’s not growing? It was super healthy and fuzzy when I bought it from Jodi and TECO. I’ll add pics of it tonight when I get home.

    How to advertise to your neighbors that you are a reefer... in case they were wondering what the strange blue glow was coming from your windows in the evening.

    I always wonder what my neighbors think it is too haha you can see my Big tank through the window from the road, but the colors are so neon I assume people think it’s a tv or something
