The fish are sold and the Flipper Magnet (used one) is sold as well.
Everything else remains. Please feel free to provide me a best offer for the items you would like.
Thank you @Cobalt, I hope the fish are doing okay.

Oh shoot I didn't see that - I'm in Portland. I think its too much of a drive.
'm in Wilsionville on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays every week. And can probably bring the fish with me if you want to meet up somewhere

Sounds good. Where are you located?
I'm located in Corvallis

The return pump model is: DCT-4000 with rated max. flow of 1056GPH. I have only ever used it at 40% flow power in a 40G DT and a 20G sump system.

Hello everyone,
I am trying to sell off my system. Had a trip planned and right before the trip had to move to a new place and that resulted in death of a few fish and corals and it was very saddening. So my wife and I have decided to give the reef keeping a break since we will have to move again in a year and don't want to kill other survivors.
As for the stuff for sale, it's listed down here:
1) Pair of ocellaris clownfish (1.5" to 2" long) - $50 for the pair
2) Melanurus wrasse (very vibrant colors, about 5ish inch long, very active and keeps the bristle worm population in check) - $50
3) Toadstool coral - $10
4) Reef Octopus Classic 110INT Protein Skimmer (Less than a year old) - $140
5) Chinese Black Box LED's (a pair) - $90 for both
6) Aqueon Pro 200W heater (less than 2 months old) - $40
7) Flipper Magnet Cleaner, Standard Size (new, unopened box) - $35
8.) Flipper Magnet Cleaner, Standard Size (used) - $15
9) Jebao DC Pump with controller - $40
10) Hydor Koralia Evo 750/850 Circulation pump (less than a year old) - $20
11) DIY'd Aquarium Stand (49.5" long x 18.5" deep x 30.5" tall) - $60
12) Live rock, roughly 30ish lbs - $50
13) Lettuce Coral that is still recovering and it is quite a big one (the rock also has a lot of sponges under it) - $15
I have got more stuff that either I will have to check or measure and will post it down here.
I am attaching a few pictures, if you need pictures of a certain thing, please feel free to message and ask and I will do my best.

Still have the skimmer? If yes, what skimmer is it and what's the footprint?

Can you post the pictures for the Reefbreeder LED's? Are they the V2's?

I agree with Chris.
I don't think I can ever bring myself to cutting a starfish. I am already shaking thinking of it lol

Will be following this closely!
I haven't had big colonies of them, until very recently. Want to put an end before they get to the corals.

Thanks for letting us know! Thanks for your interest and patience with my slow replies. Looks like I have a buyer on PMs interested in both pods and mysis now so wont be able to sell the pods alone.
Sorry for stringing you guys along -- I am just ready to be done taking care of these mysis so was eager to sell them, and sold them to the first who messaged me for both.
If you are interested in amphipods I can only repeat my recommendation for aquariumdepot and royalreefs. Buying the 1000 packs on BOGO sales is what has worked well for me, and if you split it between two itd come out pretty cheap.
It's always good when someone wants to sweep everything at once
And thank you for the information! I will definitely keep my eyes open for the bogo deals.

Hey Andy,Hey Eli,
If Nakul doesn't take them, I'll snag the amphipods from you. I could give you 20 bucks or some more coral frags.
Andy
I just saw you are interested too. We can split it half way if you want to [emoji3]

Okay cool! Well I will give it a try, why the hell not? HahaNo idea if they can live together long term, I keep them separately. My refugium also has high flow (I respectfully disagree with the widespread notions that low turnover through the sump is somehow desirable). I guess I have around 500 gph through the refugium. It also has a ton of macro which I'm sure leaves lots of low flow areas.
I can take them

Also, I have had some mysid shrimp in there for a while now (no idea where they came from though). So would amphipods and mysid shrimp live together? Plus how fast of a flow should the refugium area have for amphipods? I have a pretty high flow at the moment, which I can change if needed.I have a healthy population in my refugium, they do seem to survive well there.

I might take the amphipods. But I have a question.
If I put them in my sump refugium, do you think they might survive? I have a big chunk of live rock in there and a good amount of chaeto.
Essentially would love to see them maintain their populations down there.

This looks so cool! You could do it, but Reef Angel already exists and it is a Arduino-based controller. It is pretty cheap and easier than building one yourself.
http://www.reefangel.com/
But pretty expensive [emoji17] well cheaper than a lot of other controllers out there for sure haha
It's very tempting. Lol
But a DIY would be fun and a learning experience, and a lot cheaper (I think). I will have to see how much it really costs to build one, or asking people who have already worked on one before

Hey that'd be really cool! You also need to get a small pump for the controller to control, but pumps are cheap. I have a some used ones that I could sell you for cheap. I am close by in Corvallis.
I will need a pump certainly if I go that route, or if building one using an Arduino.
I will keep you in mind
But if I decide to go Smart ATO, or Tunze, then I think I won't need one.

Question for all of you guys:
What do you think of building one using an Arduino? I just saw an article where someone made one using it, also had it for temp control and other controls.
Sent from my SM-N915V using Tapatalk -
Oh wow. That's like a fourth of the price.I have two Tunze osmolators, but they are very expensive.
I am also using a unit from Autotopoff.com that is much cheaper and works really well. I am using the "double w/ bracket" controller.
