To be clear, I'm going to try to do this just as a garage sale, so everything will be first-come-first-serve, starting at 9:00 Saturday morning in my garage (address posted above). If there is anything left after Saturday, I will post it on this thread and make individual one-off type appointments per the usual procedure. 

I don't know how well this garage sale idea is going to work. It just got sort of complicated keeping track of all the transactions when I was selling the livestock and bigger pieces of equipment, so I thought I would try it this way to see if it's any easier. Let's find out!

Oh, Ziggy looks so happy! The Apex Jr has a temperature probe, the display module, and some basic cableage. No wifi adapter.

I cracked one wall of the sump from my Red Sea Reefer 350 while I was cleaning it. Free to anybody who has a use for it. 

FYI all the livestock have found new homes. I'm spread pretty thin right now, so I'm just slowly cleaning up the equipment and making an inventory list. Might be quite a while before I post the equipment, but if there's something you want, feel free to PM me in the meantime. Right now I have just all the things that a compulsive shopper with a 73 gallon fish tank might have. 

Well, the corals are all gone. Here's an update on who still needs a home:

Fishes:
1 mated pair of skunk clowns ($15)
2 blue damsels ($5 for the pair)
 

And then once I catch my breath I will list all the equipment I have for sale. 

I have bites on the leathers and the urchins already. I'll let you know if either of those fall through. Also, I think I've responded to everybody who messaged me about this stuff. How could I forget the photos? 

That torch is having a bad day after this morning's water change. 

It's time for me to get out of the hobby, so I'm looking for good homes for some close friends. The tank has been running since summer of 2015. Nothing new has been added to the tank since November 2017, which is when I added the mandarin dragonet. No signs of parasites or infections among the fish, but there is an outbreak of clove polyps on the rocks on the left side of the tank. I've marked the corals on those rocks with an asterisk, and I've discounted them. Please let me know if you think something here is mispriced. I'm happy to negotiate.

Oh yeah, they are definitely pets. I like to think that most of us who make it more than a few years in the hobby grow attached to our fishes. Over time you can really see how much personality they have and see signs of real intelligence. It's especially endearing when they start eating out of your fingers. 

TBH one reason I was hoping to sell them all at once is so I don't have to go through the heartbreak over and over as I say goodbye to them one at a time. But of course I prioritize their welfare over my heartbreak.

I'm particularly going to dread saying goodbye to my lawnmower and my mandarin. The ones with aaaaaalllll that personality. *snif*

Thanks--I think it would be really helpful if I could get a waiver to post to the classified board. I hadn't considered how posting the livestock here would give my little friends a better shot at going to stable homes, compared to sending them to a LFS, but that thought makes lots of sense. I'm glad I asked. 

It's time for me to get out of the hobby, and my first priority is making sure my critters go to good homes. It would be nice to recover some of the money I spent on them, that's a distant second to the primary concern about their welfare. What do you suppose is the best way to find them all new homes? Should I post here in the for sale forum and sell them one critter at a time? Or should I try to sell them as a lot? Should I try to sell them on consignment at a LFS?
