My sump and 25 gallon refugium is setting side by side. My sump is 16" tall and my tank is 19". I just sawed a hole right above the sump then installed a bulkhead with a 90 deg elbow for the water to drain to the skimmer chamber. I'm not done plumbing yet so 100% of my main tank water flows though the refugium. I only have a QuiteOne 1200 as a return so the flow isn't that much. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
