  1. So I have a inative marine pump that came with my 38 gallon nuvo and I was feeding my tank when I noticed my spin streams weren't working so I cleaned them and got them going and the flow coming off them was that of a garden hose barely on pushing out little to no water...

Any thoughts on a new pump that could fit in the back of my tank and that is fully submersible? I run mostly sps and would think it would be better for my flow?

  2. Thank you to 2 of my favorite people to go see and talk to about reef! Thanks Bret for the new chalice! And thanks for the sweet deals Jeff on the new stick always good seeing you and happy anniversary!

Here's the new tank candy eye! Sorry not best quality photos just phone pics!

  3. thanks for correcting him

Mitch you should read up on STN and RTN- they stand for Slow Tissue Necrosis and Rapid Tissue Necrosis

i didn't know the tips did that! I have had both happen to me(multiple times)!

But always from base of sps.

  4. Would you guys rather buy colonies or large "frags"?? I am considering selling a couple of my SPS colonies soon to fund some new equipment and to fuel the zoa addiction lol. I'm thinking of selling my RMF Superman stag and my lavender mint sarmentosa colonies. Just seeing what you guys would prefer before I make any decisions:)

Thanks in advance for the feedback! :)

  6. No Zeo, personally I'm not a fan of the Zeovit method, it involves a lot of daily dosing and a whole bunch of fancy little expensive bottles that nobody knows exactly what's inside. However most of them smell like vinegar...

There's a build thread on here that has a little more info about my system. It's extremely simple no gfo, the only nutrient removal used is filter socks and a skimmer.
