  1. Here's a couple photos of the QT tanks. Not pictured in the AIO is the filter media tray that filters debris before going into the bio balls. I have heaters and QT fish nets to include with the tanks. I found two HOB filters I'll include as well. The AIO tank has a DIY stand that goes with it. It's not the best stand, but it does the trick.

  2. Responded to all PM's. I added photos of the tank as it sits (needs a light clean, but all the coraline will be easy to remove). Also updated the external pump models as I posted the wrong models previously. The tank is sitting right next to a slider door at my driveway, so it's a very easy move.

  3. Hi PNWMAS, it's been a while since I've posted on here and unfortunately am posting my tank and equipment for sale. I have lots of equipment and extras I will throw in for buyers as well. Below is a list of things I have for sale and I included a few photos of the tank when it was full. I'd prefer to sell the tank as a package, but am open to parting things out.

-300g Marineland DD starphire tank in very good condition w/black vinyl on back glass (can be removed) and a set of 3 screen tops or 3 glass tops for the tank. Custom modern white stand (similar look to a Red Sea Reefer stand). The stand was custom built locally by Natural Wood Crafters and cost me $1500. It has a built-in side panel for concealing and organizing controllers. I included a render of the stand for reference and it's in excellent shape. Custom 100g acrylic sump with its own stand. The sump fits inside the stand, but I preferred having it out of the DT stand and plumbed remotely on its own stand. 2 Reeflo Hammerhead return pumps (one gold). Two black extruded aluminum light mounts that hold lights above the tank. Package deal for $1800! and I'll throw in a bunch of extras like flipper magnet glass cleaner, pole cleaner, nets, etc... PENDING

-1hp C-1000 Pacific Coast Imports chiller in perfect working order SOLD

-150g rubbermaid stock stank $100 PENDING

    -Apex EB8 SOLD

-Jebao DP-4 auto dosing pump and acrylic liquid dosing container SOLD

-20g long QT tank (will include filter setup if I can find it) SOLD

-Simplicity 120DC skimmer (pump not working) $40

-Brand new PCX-100 external pump SOLD

-Lightly used PCX-100 external pump SOLD

-Lightly used Pan World NH-200ps external pump SOLD

-2 Ocean Revive Arctic T247 lights with some bulbs out (I have replacement bulbs and hanging kits for them) $40 each or $60 for both PENDING

I've got lots of other stuff lying around, so the more you buy, the more I'll throw in for free. I don't frequent this site like I used to, so I'll do my best to respond quickly and please note all items will be sold to the first buyer that comes to pick them up, as I am trying to clear space. If you buy the tank, I'd be willing to include everything else listed for an extra $200. I can provide photos, but everything is sitting in a storage room and is tricky to take good photos of, so will be best seen in person. I'm located in SW Portland.

    Thanks, Kelso.

  4. I'll be moving my 300g tank later this month. It's not something I'm looking forward to, but with good planning and enough hands, I'm hopeful it will go smoothly. I've had a couple tank moves in the past the have gone smoothly. I'll be setting up a couple holding systems for my livestock at the new house and moving them over first. With the livestock moved, there won't be the same kind of time crunch and stress there would be otherwise. With the other moves I did everything at once, but since this tank is quite a bit bigger, I'm thinking that doing it in stages will make most sense. Good luck with your move. Your new house looks great!

  5. Haven't had computer access the past few days, so just returning PM's. At this point, the tank is still available. 240g 1" acrylic tank with stand, sand, live rock and plumbing for $400! Come and get it before I decide to keep it for my move.

  6. Rabbitfish, leopard wrasse, scopas tang and epaulette are all gone.

Carpet anemone/clownfish, mushroom rock and puffer are all still available.

I am also open to selling the show size black tang I got from Mark when he tore his tank down. It's a gorgeous and healthy fish, but does have HLLE. That's not contagious to other fish and will hopefully heal with time. I will pass it on for the same price I bought it for ($250). I'm only selling because I am getting rid of the tank my abberant scopas tang is in and those two don't get along.

  7. Alright, this week is the last chance to grab this stuff. Prices dropped for y'all.

    Scopas tang - $10

    Two-Bar Rabbitfish - $20 (I paid $75 for it)

    Ornate leopard wrasse - $45

Large blue squamosa - $275 (I paid $350 for this when it was half the size it is now)

Derasa - $50 (Really nice derasa with some bright green in it)

Highlighter green Haddoni carpet and clownfish - $120 (Photo below, straight from iphone with no blue channel on my lights)

    Mushroom rock - $40

    Puffer - $125

  8. I am moving and have to pair down my system. I currently have a 240g 1" thick acrylic tank that I believe was made by James at Envision. It has a new overflow box with a single herbie drain and two returns. The tank is in good condition with a little scratching. I will include nous acrylic polish with the tank.

Because I need the tank out quickly, I will sell it for $400 with sand, live rock, and stand. The stand is an overbuilt 2x4 stand that was painted with a white water resistant paint. A couple rocks have some Xenia and a little GSP on them that can easily be removed if you don't want it. Otherwise the rock is pest free and has some nice shelf pieces.

For an extra $350, I will include the epaulette shark and coral cat shark that are currently in there. The epaulette will be fine in that tank for a while, but would ideally go to a larger tank in the near future. It's really active and cruises around the tank day and night.

I'm also happy to sell the sharks separately to those who have adequate tanks. Let me know if you want a photo or would like to come check it out.

  9. I'm having to take down a couple tanks and am looking to re-home some really nice livestock. Everything has been in captivity for at least 1.5yrs and is durable. Prices are obo. Please confirm pick up times if you want something. I'm in N. Portland right off I-5. I can provide photos if needed, just message me with your number.

    - Scopas tang (~2.5")  $20

    - Two-barred Rabbitfish (~5") $40

    - Ornate leopard wrasse (hardy, eats anything!) $75

    - Large Blue Squamosa Clam (~6") $350

    - M/L Derasa Clam (~4.5" nice colors) $75

    - Large neon green Haddoni carpet anemone and hosted clownfish $150

    - Mushroom flat rock ( at least three emerald green ricordea's and a couple of blue mushrooms) $50

    - Small golden puffer (~4.5", only guineafowl I've heard of transition in captivity, still changing and light in color but really rare at this small size) $175

    - Roughly 400lbs. of dry reef rock with some really nice large pieces, great aquascape potential ($1-2/lb. depending on how much you get, but I'll do $300 for all of it)

I've got two sharks that I'm looking for homes for. Please don't contact unless you have a system that is adequate for them. Let me know and we can work out pricing.

    - Coral Cat shark (180gallon+)

    - Large epaulette shark (300gallon+)

  10. While I'd love to see a reef shop there (since it's close to where I work) I would think that rent would be too high for a reef shop. I just don't see a reef shop in that location being able to stay afloat paying that kind of rent. Maybe if they grew corals on one side of the shop and cannabis on the other.... Even that might be tough with Pharma right there.
