Aqua serene here in Eugene has a terrific chili coral right now. The shipper sent it by mistake. Bright pink. I thought they were hard to keep though. I would try chalice our acans. Does look like a nice spot for Sun polyps though.

So was google surfing and any one here have a chilli coral there very colorfull and from what I have read there pretty hardy just need feed. (What doesn't)

I just use large pvc 3 to 4 inch

Go really small then half dollar size and you will be fine. Qt is not permanent only a couple weeks.

As far as flow, I have an alternating return with 1100gph pump. Would that be enough flow for a happy smaller tang?

Will it live you bet. But in my 60 I had 1500 return, mp40, mp10 all at 100% (rock2)

If you want a tang in a smaller tank it will help to have extra flow, tang LOVE power heads. Ok I will admit it I had my purple In a 60 cube for a little over a year. But i all ready knew I was going to up grade. If it was me ONLY do one tang in the 72 and get one of prettyer one ( purple or chevron) you will have a show piece for sure!

I had a 55g do that, ended up having to reseal it. But I hope you just spills and forgot about it!

I have some of the tyree leathers and plenty of the kryptonite candy cane too

Umm idk about that... But from what limited knowledge I got about it they test your water $35-$45 each test. They test a lot of things to get it as close to nsw as possible and give you a spread sheet of what is high or low. Not just the big few we can test for regularly but all those trace elements that we kinda assume are good or bad levels the logic be hind it is no water changes and a true super stable environment.

I have heard a little about this and there is a thread going on reef2reef about it just wanted to know if any one on here trying it, thinking about it, ext.

I don't see why mt dew would be bad i drink it all the time (great stuff). I cant lie I have thought about dosing it to see if the shy fish come out in the open more and swim(clap) plus the sugar in it would be just like dosing vodka all so a proven way to lower nutrients. And Gatorade.... Fish need electorates just like us. It's a lot of work swimming all day!!!!
