1. So I have briopsis in my tank again :( last time had this problem I aquired a sea hare and it solved my problems. This time around I dont have access to a sea hare. At some pooint in my research I remember that you can dose magnesium to a certain point to melt the briopsis away.So my questions are what is the best method to dose mag and to what levels are the corals safe.Or is there an alternative to end this problem before it gets any worse? So far nothing I have eats it and it doesnt seem to be going away.my perameters are in check but I presume that there must be a little something that allowed this to grow but not enough to be traceable as it has already been used.

This ia a 40 gallon breeder tank.

    PH - 8.2

    Ammonia - 0

    Nitrite - 0

    Nitrate - 0

    Phosphate - 0

    Calcium - 440

    KH 8

    Salinity - 024

Metal halide 250 20,000kelvin,skimmer,carbon,low bio load in fish

six line wrasse, yellow watchman goby, and a pair of clown fish.

I have done a water change with my RO water and it seems to not be growing as fast but it is still there :(

    any help would be apreciated.

  2. that is super cool.he is the Keeper of the Coral-Defender of SPS.i have one that is more of a rougue and i have caught him stealing food.not nearly as cool.

  3. here is my sebae, clowns,a gree calaustrea, and some shrooms.there is a little macro that has spread here and there but i just pull out what i think is too much and things seem OK to me.its kind of a uncontroled natural look.i am curerntly tryingout some differnt macros in here but it seems some are a little finicky and some seem to be relished by the CUC.
