I'll take 2 also

I wouldn't worry about adding a peppermint as a second shrimp. When I put 3 in my 120 (purchased at TPA) I never saw them again. In about a month all the aiptasia was gone.

IIRC the last time I was in Animal House in OC they had some. Might want to try calling them
-
I've heard that Marineland will not honor a warranty unless the tank is on one of their stands...

Beer' date=' pizza, and reef stuffs. What more does a person need:-)[/quote']
This!!
This is going to be a great meeting

Indo Pacific Sea Farms sells them online also' date=' but they want way to much for them.[/quote']
I would recommend not buying anything from Indo Pacific... been there, done that, won't be doing it again

I think I'm DQd... I've had mine is a temp tank (Rubbermaid) for the last couple weeks while I get the 120 back together
-
Where are you located? My vet will write tank scripts. She's located in Milwaukie.
-
Was going to try to make it but my day has turned into hell
-
Wow, glad you're ok Roy. And your wet friends made it too!!
The car accident thing seems to be going around... Who will be the third?
-
Mine eats anything I put in the tank and is so fat I sometimes wonder if he shouldn't be on a diet. He's also never touched a single coral.
-
If I manage to get everything moved into the new place I'll be there
-
Hard to get decent pics...
Water fine. 1.025 79 degrees 8.3 ammonia 0 nitrate <5 phosphate
Is that 8.3ppm ammonia?

This is why I love this forum and community

One of the exciting things is being able to collect your own livestock for free. How many different varieties of zoas and palys will I be able to find?
Last I heard collecting any corals in the islands (stony and soft) was a huge no-no that comes with jail time if you're caught. I'm also pretty sure importing (from the mainland) is very regulated and may even be prohibited under the invasive species act.
Fish however are another story. You can collect and keep any fish that you can catch with a standard fishing license

I still have my 2012 banner so I'm good to go

For that size bulkhead. When I get home I can post the actual size
Edit: actual sizes are 36mm and 60mm
These are the hole saws that BRS sells for their bulkheads

I have 3/4" and 1.5" you'd be welcome to borrow

Someone call me when it's time for the torches and pitchforks.
Now, this sounds like my kind of party (threaten)

Whoot! Now I can get my daily fix

don't place it right next to the algae during lighted hours' date=' they will run and hide until nighttime. Also they can disappear under your sand, I'm not sure how he does it... He is the size of a tennis ball but lays under my 1.5" sand bed.[/quote']
Ok, so this makes me wonder if mine is still around. I picked one up from TPA a few weeks back and he was very out in the open for a couple days and then I never saw him again... couldn't find a body, no ammonia spike, no sign he was ever there and with my light stocking there's no way a carcus could have been eaten

I built the stand for my 120... It would probably hold up a semi truck without a problem.
If you wanted help with plans or anything I'd be happy to lend a hand... Heck, If you wanted to come over we could probably build it in a couple hours
