my tank is getting a infestation of asterinia starfish zoanthid eating ones I keep picking them off my zoas :( is there a type of fish or another natural predator other then the Harlequin shrimp as I have a mystery wrasse so my Harlequin is in my nano :(

that probably true since half the finds you find as hitchhikers have black tips and aren't reef safe. I hade two orange fuzzy crabs that hitchhiked in some live rock that killed a couple of my fish nasty little things

I agree with kim it kinda looks like a nem crab but it looks to have black tipped claws and to beefy looking to be a anemone crab its cool lookinv what ever kind of crab it is

mainly all acropora will win against montipora which is a good thing since montipora grows so much faster then acropora

Thanks guys... I cut that toadstool way back about 6 weeks ago and it's already touching the front and back again. Kinda crazy. I had a 3 tank propagation system going stuffed with frags but sadly it and the 2 quarantines crashed last week. I had a birdsnest in the softie tank (was hoping the copperband would clear the majanos off) and that died too. Things got so bad I called Vulcan Veterinary Services' date=' Dr Corcoran came out and now I am treating the fish in the frag system for two protozoan parasites and a bacterial infection. Turns out I was not careful enough with the quarantine bit. On the plus side, having a real vet solve your problem instead of people guessing on forums and then buying expired drugs at fish stores, well there is no comparison. i had a bad experience with them 2 years ago i ordered some fish and coral and i paid for overnight shipping mind you i bought everything on a Monday morning and i didn't get my stuff till that Thursday and never rang the door bell or knocked and my box was banged up, busted open then taped up poorly and upside down i ordered some superman shrooms, three pink anthias and two clowns and a royal gramma. Both the clown bags were empty and the gramma were dead, but fortunately the shrooms and anthias were some how still alive and the online store gave me a whole refund on the lost fish.
