    Ok I'm back again to give a THANK YOU to Frank (Frank) and Stylaster (Roy) also OIAB (Coz). I came down yesterday and both took time from work and gave me the Royal Reefer Treatment(rock2). I enjoyed the time, knowledge and conversation during my visit to purchase corals. I'm now a Calcuim Reactor user and the setup and How-To was easy thanks Coz. Most you know all that i'm talking about but if you don't take the time to(naughty). As someone sais before "I'll Be Back! Take Care and KEEP REEFING Darryl/Dtech07(drinking)

    Thanks for making the trip down it was great having you over. I think we got stuck in a tank time warp there or something' date=' i'm still trying to figure how 3 hrs went by that fast. Lot of good conversation. Hopefully by the next time you come down i will have eaten my nemesis Brutis and posted pics of it. I think a whole hr was devoted to touring his destruction and recaping escape attempts he's made over time.[/quote']

    Brutis is King of The Tank (for now) Mahahaha. Thank Bret and its funny how time flys when talking tank. Oh and I'll send you some lemon and butter for Brutis(clap)

    PORTLAND ROAD TRIP

    Hello Fellow Reefers,

     

    I'm from the Lakewood/Tacoma area but Born and raised in good old PO. I've been a surfing PNWMAS for the past year and finally decided to make contact and purchase a few things, ha did i say a few (more later).

     

    My FIRST thanks and appreciation goes to MrBret (Thanks Bret) I contacted him over a month ago to add he had posted for some Chalices and Bret informed me that he had some and that he'd be glad to meet with me. This took almost a month due to both or schedules but it all worked down to yesterday. Bret ask me during our first call awhile back if i had other interests other than Chalices and of course i said yes (SPS) he then (Bret) pointed me towards Frank (Hi Frank(rock2)) who also patiently waited for the northern (me) to show up. Oh just to clearify i wasnt being flacky and communicated quickly if things changed. So this tuesday Frank and i met and what a enjoyable fun time it was. Frank is a TRUE REEFER and willing to assist, share, and provide his knowledge and time (plus Corals(naughty)) to a outer towner. I trully felt welcomed and into his home and had the chance to meet his family and see the CUBE of life haha. THANK YOU FRANK!!! and I look forward to meeeting up with either down there or up here your always welcomed to drop in. Oh this was Tuesday i had to come back down Wednesday to meet up with Bret and oh did i forget I also set up a meeting with Kim after meeting with Bret.

     

    Now onto MrBret, Again a BIG THNK YOU(dancing)BRET!!! Now its Wednesday and i meet up with Bret and again the hospitality, kindnes and time given will never be forgotten and the knowledge was trully worth every moment. Bret your the MAN! it was fun and with lost of laughs during the 3hr vistit whitch seemed like only a 1hour (flowers to your wife and presents to your children for sharing their time). I really appreceiate you looking out for me when i first PM you and again how you made feel once i arrived. i was so jazzed up after Frank that the drive back and forth was nothing. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

     

     

    Now on to Kim and Beth,

     

    I was to meet them at 4-5pm but as mention above i didnt leave Brets home till 5:45pm but called and Beth said come on and suprisingly it took me 30min to get from Brets home to theirs (no speeding was done lol). Once at Kim's again a warm REEFERS welcome then down to the Blue Glow, where again the warmth, kindness and knowledge was freely given and greatly appreceiated. Kim/Beth (your first on the next trip Frank and Bret will have to wait haha)

     

    ALL in ALL It was a outstanding experence and a true joy. OUTSTANDING CORALS AND DEALS (WOW)(yahoo) . I'm not kinding this trip has made me step up my game and shortly i want to bring something to the table and a thanks. Kim i would have came to this Sundays meeting but if i came down another day i might of received papers once i got back home but i will be to one or two before years end.

     

    If you have ANY doubts don't these three are the real McCoys and i shared my trip here with my local reefers and they all want to come with me on my next trip so watch out haha.

     

    PNWMAS Keep doing what your doing because your doing it well. Take Care and over time i'll meet some more of you, in fact i'm at Ocean in a Box this coming Thursday to pickup some equipment so if your around lets meet.

    I had the same issue recently after a couple snails croaked . I just rinsed the cheato off with salt water siphoned all that I could out of the sump . Something's feeding it . But like any other macro or micro Algea removing it is removing what's feeding it the same reason why people harvest some of there macro . Jmo . I like to try and beat stuff the natural way before using algae removers its there for a reason . Take your water somewhere with a Hanna checked for po4 .

    My P04 are undetecable (i have a calobrated Probe) even if i pull half of it out its still undetecable. I thought it was Red Turf but not the same.
