Any thoughts on LEDs?

Sun Coral (Tubastrea), which I guess is LPS, is listed as very compatible by seahorses.org. No SPS, 's Red Sea fans are good. That's probably what I'm looking to do.

It's a hexagon tank, about 21" across, I would like to do seahorses and the few corals that are compatible with them.

I'll be buying lights some time after the holidays, want to welcome any and all to give me their opinions on the subject of lighting. I'm a noob still, and since lights are pretty expensive, I'm hoping for learn before I open my wallet.
My aquarium is deep, 24", and I'm thinking fish and coral and plants.
So, can I draw of the PNMAS pool of knowledge? Feel free to write your thoughts!
Thanks,
Brian

Two strange things that are going on in my new tank:
1) Something is digging a hole under my rock. It's now about 2" wide and 1/2" tall
2) Some worm-like critters are making cast-tubes out of small pieces of gravel. It has a very fine flagella-type line that it whips around, sticks to a small rock, and pulls the rock in. I think it also has a snorkel-tube that I saw it put up for about 20 minutes.
Any ideas what's going on?

I connected mine to a venturi that I made on the return line from my refugium. Works good, no extra running expense.

Thanks!
Wow! Awesome Clownfish! I especially like the 3-day olds! Do you sell direct? Thanks for hosting, this was my first meeting and I really enjoyed it!

I am looking for macro algae, specifically Chaetomorpha and Red Gracilaria, for my refugium. Please PM me and lets work out a deal!

I'm new to the forum, and new to saltwater aquariums. I added saltwater to the aquarium 3 weeks ago, the chemicals tests are working out well, and I got some fun "hitchhikers" with my live rocks and sand! I'm moving slowly, and I love to see the daily changes in my tank! I'll be adding plants to my refugium soon ... and fish in a few weeks! Very exciting!

Oops, that should be Dan in Real Life, Monty Python, and, of course, A River Runs Through It.
