I had a recent kH plummet while on my honeymoon, but this has been like this for 8 months or more.

I bought this from Garrett about a year ago or so. After about 2 months it changes color for the worst and then it go stung by my other Trachy. Since then, it has receded on all sides and no longer inflates like it used to and I haven't had it eat either. It's been in low light (in the shade of a rock) and low flow. What am I doing wrong?

It's actually discouraged me from buying any more brains because I lost my first one and now this.

Wow. Depending on how this plays out, this could be the future of coral propagation. Definitly looks like some small scale, aquarium based tests could follow.

80.4 tops so far. I have an air conditioner and a fan hooked up to my controller.

I have used Kent RO Right for customers with discus and are on well water. Seems to do a pretty good job of re-mineralizing the water.

+1 Also never hurts to soak their food in some garlic extract. That's all I do now if I see signs of illness and it usually helps the fish fight it off.

You can't just add one bulb. It has to be 2 at a time.

I never knew that. What happens if you only do one at a time?

If the lighting is t5 now, I would start with the same amount of bulbs you have now and add another bulb every week or so.

I saw some full grown bamboo sharks at SeaWorld Orlando that were definitely bigger than 3 feet. I wouldn't put one in anything smaller than a 3.5' x 8' footprint for life.
