What are the dimensions and the wattage on the desktop aquarium?

Lights mainly. Maybe T5 retro or fit in a 96w quad I have. Nothing too exciting, just like tinkering around with electronics. Haven't dabbled with lighting yet so I figured I might as well. Any current or prior aquapod owners done any cool mods I might want to try?

I would love too but with the amount of cathair floating around this house I don't think it would be a good idea. Also, I really like the AIO closed top look. Getting another hood is more for the fun of modding. I'm also looking for a hood for a 15.5 pacific coast nano but those are even harder to find. Next tank will be an open top though, MH for sure.

Doesn't have to be nice, the lights don't need to work. I am just looking for one to basically dismantle and mod. A good polycarbonate splash lens would be good to have though, but not necessary.

Nada? Oh well, they're not too expensive online. Nobody has some old aquapod lights hanging around that are just taking up space?

Burned out...wondering if anybody has one laying around they're not using. I have a 9.75" 27W dual actinic if anybody wants to trade.

Do you have the hood for the 15.5? That alone is worth $30 bucks to me. The pacific coast is a hard to find tank especially for replacement parts.

What kind of 15.5 nano is it? Pacific coast?

Check alpenrose dairy. They used to have an outdoor off road track there. Used for RC and motocross, too.

Just saw Bob at Edgefield a few weeks ago. I thought it was pretty good. The first time I saw Bob Dylan, Santana opened for him. I don't think anything will beat that show. In my opinion, Dylan's voice is sounding more and more like Tom Waits.

I like the fish tank toilets personally!

Couple pics of my girlfriends 15.5G cube

I'll probably be fragging my first softies from my girlfriends tank. Here's a few pics of hers. Crazy hairy mushroom is going to take over everything!

By shrimp I meant dropping a raw shrimp in the tank to start the ammonia cycle. I know how much those little live shrimp, well at least peppermint shrimp cost! Ugh, molt once then the maroon clown kill them while they are soft. Money pit! No maroons for my tank, as pretty as they are...

On a side note I had some Zoa hitchhikers on a piece of live rock I got...all open! Exciting...patience...patience....

The live rock should be enough to start the cycle. It was from an established tank that just got taken down. I'm going to wait a couple of days and then test to see if there is any ammonia present. If not maybe I'll add a shrimp or something.

First question as a newbie...when should I do my first water change? And how much water should I change? Or is it completely parameter based...

I'm digging the flow from the maxi jet that dee77 put in there. It's creating a whirlpool affect and causing a nice shimmering even with the PC bulbs. Another powerhead is in the works. Regarding the crushed coral...my girlfriend's 15G cube has crushed and we have had no issues with any excessive buildups. All nitrite testing comes up 0 and her tank has been running since January/February. But definitely when I go bigger...and it seems inevitable, a #1 or #2 sand for sure.
