  1. You mean Diable III :P

An I still haven't taken a look at it, we've been too busy an can't spend money on new computers yet, but, we've finally found the house we want and are doing our damndest to get it, so maybe 6 months from now LOL

  2. ok, ok....you're right. They are his fish and he has the right to choose to not show them to people if he doesn't want to. I am glad to hear that someone is successfully breeding them.

But I can't help thinking what a shame it is that the SeaSmart program that collected those fish met an early demise. If this breeding program was happening there it could have brought quite a financial windfall for the people of PNG.

Seriously, some people are just gullible....

  3. If that's the case, what would you think about attempting to organize something like that for the PacNW? We have such a large population of reefers and stores all in our tri-state area, I think something like that, if we could get it held on a yearly basis, that it could be as big if not bigger hit than the one in Denver.

  4. Hey guys, I've noticed that ReefStock '11 just finished up and that it was held in Denver at the Aquarium...

    I have 2 questions:

    1) Where and when are ReefStock '12 being held?

    2) I wonder what it would take to get ReefStock in Seattle one year, at the Seattle Aquarium?

  5. I understand the guy's desire to be protective of his stock, but not letting you even see his lightning maroon parents is a little dickish if you ask me. The cat's out of the bag and the beans have been spilled. He's breeding lightning maroons. Might as well let the only other person on the planet with a lightning maroon at least see his broodstock parents if he's standing 20 feet away from them. That's bad karma

Apparently some people just don't know what day this is....

And seriously, callin someone like Dave, who's one of the nicest guys I've ever met names is just wrong.

  6. Are you taking the pics using the macro mode? I can get good pics showing nice color with our lil point n shoot samsung pretty easy, it's the super zoomed in detailed pics I can't get LOL

  7. 225' date='000 gallons a day is only 156 gallons a minute...what a bummer. i need more H2O than that. C'mon get workin...[/quote']

Matt, did you read the link? lol

Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System that is self-contained inside a weatherproof 40-foot “high cube” container that serves as the building and shipping container. The system may be operated on tap/well water, brackish water and seawater up to 36, 000 ppm tds. The output varies depending on the water source: on water up to 1500 ppm tds the output is 550,000 gallons/day and on brackish water up to 8,000 ppm tds the output is 475,000 gallons/day and on seawater up to 36,000 ppm tds the output is 225,000 gallon/day. The Plant has a feed water maximum of 533 gallons/minute. The Plant utilizes 72 membranes. Membranes are not included but specific one's are available to fit your requirements. The unit has a total of 12 Pressure Vessels – 6 element pressure vessels with rating to 1000 psi. The plumbing is arranged so that 4 vessels can be cleaned at a time while the system continues to operate, using an in-place membrane cleaning system. It has a Quintaplex High Pressure Pump positive displacement pump, Nickel/Al/Bronze powered by a 250 HP TEFC motor with a Variable Frequency Drive. It has 316 SS piping on the pressure side; schedule 80 PVC piping on low-pressure side. Includes a 316 SS centrifugal feed pump to ensure flow of the incoming feed water. The Prefiltration unit consists of a 3 each chemical injection units, 20-micron and 5-micron cartridge filter. The system is operated via a monochrome, PLC touch screen panel. System was used for 6 months while on lease and is factory reconditioned. Low operating hours. Also available as an upgrade for the system is a new Energy Recovery unit that allows for use to 42,000-ppm tds with output of 264,000 gpd. This will increases output on 36,000-ppm tds seawater from 225,000 gpd to 316,800 gpd. and reduces effective cost of power per gallon of water produced by 20-30%. Additional items are available to add on as new such as: Media Filter, Chemical Injection Systems, Carbon Filters, Softeners, Iron Removal Filters, UV Sterilizers, Oil Removal Filters. All these upgrade are at an additional cost and can be quoted by the manufacture. NOTES: GPD = Gallons Per Day; 1 Gallon = 264 Metric Ton; PPM = Parts Per Million; TDS = Total Dissolved Solid; Atlantic / Pacific Ocean Seawater is 36,000 ppm approximately; Middle East Seawater is 42,000-45,000 ppm tds

This thing is incredible, I'd hate to see the final selling price on it though, since they want you to make an offer on it LOL
