Thanks man. I use a Nikon d5000. Really just need to get a good feel for adjusting your aperture and shutter speeds really(hi aperture, loooooong shutter), and a tripod is also a MUST!!! I took these by the OMSI, had to take my gf to the airport at 4 this morning and decided to be productive and get some shots on the way home!

ok, pretty embarrassing, but, i had a led in the hood my by BC14 and it fell into the tank last night. I was surprised to see that the fish were not shocked and killed! when i pulled the light out some black liquid came out??!!! :eek: i did a water change with the couple gallons i had left! the fish seem fine, but the zoas and frogspawn are not looking happy, just closed up and the spawn isnt fluffy as it usually is. Im going to go get some water now and do about a 75% water change. let me know if there is anything else i can do. tested water levels and nothing seems to be out of wack, let me know what you guys think!!

yeah i recently moved a 100g FW tank and a 30. Bought about 8 5g buckets from HD and everyone made it....

thanks guys, its only been up about 3 weeks, going on 4... i took out the bioballs, threw some cheato in the back with a light at night. Stock lighting for now, real close to getting a 70w sunpod... what do you guys think? No skimmer as of now... are these little biocube ones worth getting? I also put a MJ900 in the back. Thats about it.

Just got my BC14 going not too long ago. Thought i would keep track of it here. Shoot me any opinions good or bad, happy to hear what i can do better. Done several FW tanks, but this is my first SW.....

Yes, it should be good for at least 3 months. You will notice when is time to change.

If your tank is inda new (let me say.. less than 2 months) I will wait before to put Chemi Pure.
