As a rescue, Im seeing a huge increase in inverts (scorpions & Ts) being left behind when people move. Of course that is punishable by law so while I am holding these critters for police & prosecution, I need enclosures. I use the typical Michaels acrylic craft boxes, deli dishes which I really hate & small aquariums. I have been checking the local LFS for used ones & the Goodwill here has one for $20, no way. Ive got ads online but nothing has come through yet so thought I would look here. Im going to the expo in Hillsboro on Sept 26th to see if I can find some there. Do you have the 2.5 for sale? Heres a list for all of the pigeon shows for Oregon & Wa. There is no fee for non participants, you can see some of the 400 plus pigeon breeds being shown. At the Albany show, there should be 1500 birds. My husband & I will be showing as well. If you are looking for something for your kids to get into, this would be it. Was originally made for iguanas, converted for birds. Can be changed back without much work.

Perfect for finches or birds up to a Cockatiel size. Octagonal in the front, 90 degree corner in the back, its made for a corner. Clear acrylic front & bottom front, 1/2 inch wire for the rest with a linoleum back & botton reinforced with plywood uner the floor. 4 stainless steel mesh covered holes on tope for lights. Walk in door. Very nice looking professionally made cage. $300 & am willing to deliver & setup for free from Portland to Eugene.

Dividable in the middle with use of the ladder, 2 stories for each level or make it into one large 4 story cage. Pullout trays for both levels. On casters, powder coated green. Used but bleached & ready to go. $200. No pics. Will deliver.

I was contacted by a man in Lebanon who is divorcing, he has 2 boas & a reticulated python he needs to loan to someone. He is not willing to let them go for free, but he will let them go on breeding loans to someone who will take care of them, he keeps ownership of them but someone can breed them. I think they would be better off breeding, if need be, rather than where they are at. Not exactly my thing being a rescue, but thought you may be interested or know of someone who is. We will be going to his place on Monday to get the tarantulas that I will be housing for him so he needs to find someone for the snakes asap. Well, aren't we just a bitter little damsel. LOL

My husband (after seeing a tank in Salem during a frag swap with a fellow member) is interested in getting a bigger tank. Im quite happy with my 2 nanos (no external "stuff" like skimmers & all that) scares me. I would love a larger tank but Im SO confused. I dont know the first thing about the bigger tanks. Yes, I have read & read & read. I still dont know about the products, prices & good deals for all of that stuff. I dont know whats the best product to get for any of it! Any help on where to start would be great. I know money is the biggest issue. If we can find someone willing to take payments or trades (my husbands a welder/millright) , we would be happy. Kim
