Hog Head

When I bought this I was told it was ORA Green BN but it is growing like no other BN I have seen. Is it what I was told or is it something else. I just keeps growing straight up and not out.

I have several corals that I don't know about or have forgotten the names. Can you help me identify them? #1 #2 #3(Blue/Green acro foreground) #4(Bushy Green/Brown upper right) #5 Thanks for helping.

My Green/Purple Frog Spawn has done very well. This shot is from my 29g with PC lighting and it has maybe 5-6 heads. I quit counting how many heads it had after it got past 30. It takes up a nice amount of ground in the middle of the tank now. I drilled a nice rock and epoxyed it there for stability. It is one of my favorites.

It has been a while since I posted here so I thought I would update. the build thread. The cancer is in full retreat and I give the build a lot of credit because it helped keep my mind off of the crappy stuff in life. A few changes have happened including the addition of a 1/3hp chiller. Here is a February shot and then one I took today. 02/21/10 08/24/10 Everything has done very well except for the Zoa's and some of the Mushrooms.

I have a 10 gallon tank with strip light hood and a critter lid plus bowl I want out of the garage. All for $10. SOLD.

I was looking for cash for rock or what ever for the new 37G for my Maroon but, what do you have?

Starting to set up a 37g for my Maroon that needs a new home. Tired of her wreaking havoc in the main tank. She moves rock and continually covers rock/coral with sand. So the setup will be comprised of mostly what I have on hand. 37g main tank, 20H for a refugium, CPR CS90 and Mag 7 for overflow and return, can't remember the brand of the skimmer but it works well and Koralia K2/4's for flow. Lighting will be a 130w Current PC fixture until the bulbs are done then I will set up T5's. This will be a "softy" tank with mostly Zoa's, Mushrooms, Button Polyps and what ever that is soft and wavy. Most of this will come from my large tank and it will become mostly an lps/sps tank. I will snap some pics when my wife gets back with the camera. I will be need a few pieces of rock, so if anyone in the Eugene-Salem area has some, 20-40 pounds maybe.

WTS 29g tank and stand for $35. Tank and stand are oak finish. It was my first SW setup and never had anything else in it. It was a reef so no copper is guaranteed. SOLD.

I figured as much.lol I guess I am in for one more.(rock2) It will go better with the 180-210 when I upgrade in about a year or so. At least I will have all the equipment I need/want. The wife is going to kill me.(wife)

The tank is 6' long 18" wide and about 15" high off of the sand bed and I was worried about having just one pump at the right end but I also have the return and a K2/4 at the left end.

Does Nutrient Export work with one pump?

What are the advantages of 2 MP40's over just 1 other than making waves (which I don't want to do)? It is looking like I will probably use the Reef Crest Mode.

I bought a veliferum Sailfin Tang today at the lfs today (for a whopping $10) that had been in their Q tank for some time due to a mild case of MHLLE. The MHLLE isn't too bad and they said it wasn't progressing. It is fat, healthy and I couldn't see why such a beautiful fish shouldn't be enjoyed. He is getting along just fine with the others until the Foxface decided to chase it around. Is this normal? They are similar in size, 5"-7" range. The fox has never chased anyone before.
