  1. I also have problems with tangs. I have in my tank right now and doing great a hippo and a kole but I have had in the past 2 convict tangs, 2 mimic yellow tangs, 1 ebili mimic tang. I also don't know what is going on. Everything tests out ok. But yet don't know what to do. I would like to have one more tang in my tank but don't know what to get. Of those 5 mentions the convicts lasted the longest. I loved them!

  2. I had 2 at one time. Both hung out together and they were very cute until one day I couldn't find one. Found out he swam down into the sump. I had no way of covering those openings on my previous tank. I put him back and he just disappeared. My other one hung around for a while and loved to live in my xenia. I had a forest going on and he would love to swim through it! One day I couldn't find him either! Great personallity!!!

  3. Sorry I didn't get on to answer your question about heartworm but here is my answer now. I will tell you we tell all our clients that if they are going to the valley that they need to get their dogs on heartworm. It isn't huge there but it is definately around! It is a lot cheaper to prevent than it is to treat. And it is cheaper on the heart...yours. Watching a dog go through heartworm treatment is not an easy thing!! You are basically giving the dog enough poison to kill the worms but not the dog...it is tricky. Plus then they aren't allowed to do much for about 3 months but be couch potatos. They don't feel well and it just isn't fun! What did you vet say when you took him in?? Did he pass with flying colors? Those pics are just too cute!!!
