  1. Emerald, I hope you have that frag tank set up. While I wanted a aquarium I’ve been in the hospital 4 times now since July and we are just plain broke. Hopefully one day I can get a little clown tank, or a dottyback or something. But right now it’s out of the question.

Thank you for the offer though.

  2. In case anyone wonders, the first picture was the best I could come up with. The second is the kids being babysat by the reef.  And the third is the height of my crazy where all those trays around the top are each different kinds of zoas.

  3. Hi I’m Roger,  I was pretty active on here around ten years ago. I got out of the hobby because of new children and not enough time and extra money.

Hopefully soon I will be able to afford a medium sized reef and my kids can enjoy the hobby as much as I did.

So as I sit here in the hospital and they pump me full of all the trace elements that I used to dose my tank with (magnesium, potassium, calcium…) It reminded me of the past. 🙂

  4. I think the store you are talking about was in downtown Albany. I have no idea what it was called but it did have 2 stories.

The local Portland/Vancouver stores are GREAT, but if you are talking about ALL of Oregon you have to include Reeftech down in Medford that list.

  5. No i'm talking about the palys. They grow like a weed in my tank. But hey thats the great thing about this hobby, the thing that one person hates might be another persons favorite coral.

  6. The first ones are called "The plauge taking over my tank that need to die"

The second ones are nice, but re_run if you have red hornets that look like that you don't have red hornets. (laugh)

  7. I apparently have these nudibranchs all over my corals. There have been corals that I thought were just RTNing for quite a while from bad water chemistry that can probably be blamed on these little bastards!

I just read an article about something called Potassium Permanganate that is supposed to do a pretty good job of killing them and their eggs. It is also sold as "Poly-Ox" by Kent Marine, Does anyone know where to get this or have any experience using it?
