I looked at a few on ebay. I just wasn't sure if they were of any quality. But I'm on a tight budget so even a cheap one would be better than buying water.

does anyone have a cost effective RO/DI they would recommend that I could just run out of my sink?

thanks for the info. I may have to check this out. I think the cost of the unit would more than pay for itself in a years time. Does just a bare bones RO unit do enough? Im not sure what makes it RO/DI but that is what I have been buying from the LFS

I have been going to a local reef store and buying RO/DI water now for a while. Its getting kinda old. The constant trips to the store and having to pay so much for some stupid water. I live in a single bedroom apartment so having my own RO/DI filter might be dificult. Does anyone do anything differently? Or is there a good way to set one up with no space?

I have used RC some but I prefer the smaller local forums. I will check there and see what info I can gather. If anyone has opinions or knowledge let me know

I have some lighting coming monday from California so we will see if the ups decides to ship it to washington first and claim natural disaster so it can be late as well.

I am looking to get better bulbs for my 6x54w bulb T5 HO fixture. I was thinking of using two ATI aquablue specials, two ATI blue plus, and two Geisman actinic plus. Does anyone have an idea of what this will look like and how it will perform? I am looking to have a nice light to moderate blue look in the tank as well as have plenty of light. Thanks for your help and pics with bulb combos would help too:D

I have two Hagen glow t5 HO balasts with end caps. Also included is two 10k and two actinics also glow brand bulbs. All of this is in like new condition and has only been used for about a month. $100 obo for all of it
