  1. Really' date=', are they live or ? look awfully big[/quote']

I would like to take this chance to give thank Andy, he is an awfully nice guy who has some very nice equipment. He was willing to come over to my place and shoot my tank for me free of charge. I will still extend my offer of a frag of most anything I have for you in the future when your ready Andy. He has sent me some more pictures I will post later. I am going to go watch the second half of that game that I have on the DVR for now.

Straight from the freezer Steve, same brand you use.

  2. Cant bring them back on your carry-on, to much liquid. Cant put them in your other luggage or they will not make it. Oh and its 5 fish per day.

I dont think it will work out but I will have the permit just in case everything falls into place.

  3. Sounds cool TAD, I'll drop you a line when I get back in town. Heading to

Washington D.C. tomorrow get fly back on Sunday... then leave for Alaska on Tuesday... fly back on Friday... Then leave for Seattle on Monday... drive back late on Wednesday. This is going to be a LONG month.

Well I hope you get to drop a line while in Alaska.

  4. Thanks Bob, the blue spot is awesome. He even came out to say hello to me yesterday.

I will say the personal pressure is on regarding aquascaping this tank. There's a huge Solana owner's thread on reef central. I've noticed the majority of the Solanas (and nanos for that matter) follow the same general idea for the scape. There are obviously a lot of constraints with fitting a decent amount of rock in a tank this size. It kind of lends itself to a mound of rock in the middle.

If I have a cookie cutter tank, I don't want a cookie cutter scape! Don't be disappointed everyone if my tank comes out looking "normal." I have every intention to do something different though.

With as much experience you have I am sure your aquascaping will be great. If you want some practice you can help me with mine, as I am struggling getting mine to my liking. It seems harder for me because I have some rocks that have colonies of zoe's and some riccordias and shrooms so those rocks need to be placed just so.

  5. Oh thats right. I can always remember its a crispa but not the other part. Here is a picture of mine in case you wanted to see...Just kidding...I like to show it off when I can (dancing)

  6. For those that couldn't see the pictures I will try it again.

"Could you share some details? Looks like plexi but I can't tell for sure. Lights? pumps? reactor? chiller? etc?"

Acrylic with rounded front corners. lights are pictured now with ballast, pump is now pictured, reactor nope, chiller, nope. It does have a skimmer that is pictured in the wet dry unit that I will make into a refuguim if I have to keep it. If anyone has anymore questions please ask them.

As I stated earlier I am not in a hurry to sell this, but I am willing to work something out if someone wants it. I will try it on craigs list in a week if it doesnt sell here, then if it doesnt sell there I might set it up or put a snake it it or something??
