NICE !!! Looks great.

A friend some years back got a yellow tang when she had hair algae and it ate it all. It was amazing to look every day or so and watch it disappear.

Hoping wishing and dreaming of the day!

I am right there. I don't test mag or iodine I guess more test kits will be need.

I sure did. 6 weeks in and bought all live rock and sand. Ammonia never went above .25. waited til it went to 0. I bought 3 easy hardy frags. HA! Two look sickly and not opening. After 3 days I moved them today and can't stop staring and worrying about them....not relaxing

Jumping in here. Could you list proper range for each test?
Thanks

I do have 4 t5's. Thanks for the help, gives me a place to start. I find myself watching hrs a day. Adding a few things to add color/movement should be fun.

I am looking to add to a new tank. Many say "they need med light", that one needs high light. I don't want to kill things in the figuring out stage.
-
Many corals have different lighting needs.
I get that Halides are "high".
What is medium and low?
How does one measure what their lighting falls under?

5 turbo snails
asst. crabs
Great buy on the Koralias! I haven't even seen the #4's LFS.
Planning on getting 3 #4's, should be enough, thanks for the heads up.

Wow thanks for the kind offer. I would love some of both. It seems it is time to add more flow. I can't wait for the weather to clear so I can get out. I am thinking 2 Koralia #3. Any thoughts on if thats enough flow for a mixed reef.
My small clean up crew is gonna need help. I am starting to get what looks like "Phormidium" I have pulled and cleaned a few rocks.
20 sm asst crabs
2 cleanner shrimp
1 bl spotted goby
1 bk spine urchin
Not sure when and what to add next.

(clap)I have been to Rose City on a regular visits. I have been treated wonderdfully. I at no time felt unsafe in any way with either of the shepherds. One just holds any toy or any thing for that matter waiting for an any attention. The other wants nothing but a pat on the head. I found this to be the case on each and every visit. I have been in on days of delivery and things can be some what out of sorts. Have YOU been to any small biz on order day? No he is not over priced so you get good quaility at a fair price. That is how to stay in biz these days. If however you want to be treated like a "king in his clean castle" I guess thats your right.
Just my two cent's.
Yea for Rose City !!! (clap)

Thanks I am so excited about how it looks and running. It has been 2 weeks and seems that the amonia is starting to drop slowly. It never went higher than 0.25. I can only guess it's because most added was live. I am doing my best to wait for clean up crew. Still testing and waiting.
Thanks again

Any opinions on sea cucumbers? Thinking about getting one to keep the sand clean. I have read that they can poison the tank though. Crabs & snails just arn't getting the job done.
