I will be putting the plat in tomorrow so you will have to just wait for the pictures. The plat is a big one 16in x 12in... A good size piece broke off that is about 7 inches if anyone wants to trade??
Last night I was only able to put a few chucks of rock in the tank but I stopped at that because the water was so murky from the fill. I put a 250 MH over the bin I am keeping my corals and fish in just to keep them happy.
Picture of my frag tank
I used a lot of the old sand from the 125g. The sand was only 6 months old and it did not smell to bad so I thought I was pretty safe.
It took about 3 hours to fill the tank. I used about 80 gallons of water form the 125 and the rest was new.
Stand with sump. I made my own sump using a 55g long. I had to take apart the front part of the stand to get the sump in.
We got the tank in with only two people. It was really scary, they tank alone had to have been over 400lbs.
Here are pictures of the tank all drained.
.
I have two 55g trash barrels and 1 29g trash barrel that I have saltwater mixing is the garage. I ran the water through a RO unit. Each trash barrel has a heater in it set at 78 degrees and a power head.
