Pump is way overkill, Dolphin diamond AmpMaster 4750. I will just have to throttle it back. It was too good a deal to pass up.
There is about 7 verticle feet from water line in the display to the high water line in the sump. Only about 18" horizontal.
With the pump that's "overkill" T it back into the sump if you can. I ended up making a manifold that T's off the main return that runs my CaRx,, Chiller, two reactors, a frag tank and have two ball valves for expansion. Just an idea. Good luck with the project. Be sure to take some pictures.

Here are a few pictures of how I did mine. Also Was recommended be another person to have a drain in your plumbing under the house. Something you could flush out every so often. hope this helps.
PS. Should say this is one of the best things I have done. Now all the mess and noise is in the garage.
Under the house
Drain
To the tank

I did the same thing (remote sump). Why don't you make sure everything is done besides the drilling of the holes under the tank (floor). Meaning get the sump ready in the garage, run all the plumbing to the tank under the house and last drill two holes in the floor to the tank.
What return pump you running? Are you positive you have enought gravity that the water will not back-up and flood the house? Are you going with a larger sump?

Figured I should update this since it's asked so often. Keep in mind I also dose Kalk in my ATO.
Reactor PH 6.52 / Tank 7.9-8.2
Effluent 60-70
AP regulator set at 5.25 / 6psi
All parameters are holding at:
Alk 8.3
Cal 440
Mg 1375
Thanks again for the help.

Update,
Adjusted it today to effluent to 60 ml Per min and set AP regulator to 5. PH in reactor is 6.62
Will keep testing daily. Thank you!

I'm also going thru the same thing. My HQI socket is shot on one side. I have went 3 days without light on one side with no ill effects. The socket is cheap ($10.00).
Corals will be fine for a few days without light.

Thank you guys very much for the advise. Hopefully I get it dialed in without killing everything.
Thanks again, Trent

This is my First time setting a reactor. Have had it on line for a few days. Would like someone with experience to look over the info and make sure I'm doing it right.
120 gallon SPS tank (150 gallon sump) 270 gallons total water volume.
Kalk in a 32 gallon Brute can, Tunze ATO. Run 24/7
GEO 612, Extra Course Media
AP regulator set on 9.5 (I think that means 1 bubble every 9.5 sec.)?
Current Parameters.
ALK 8
Cal 430
MAG 1400
PH in tank 8.3, in Reactor 6.66 (on a controller) Effluent PH 14
40 Mil. per min coming out of the Effluent.
Not sure if its keeping up with demand. Too Early to tell. Today test results are the ones posted above and will go from their.
Any suggestions?
Picture is for Reference of stock (Picture is about 4 months old, more growth now).
Thanks in advance

Call Pioneer Plastics in Albany at (541) 791-9231. They should be able to hook you up for almost no charge (relatively speaking), and can cut anything you want to size.
I had them build my 200gal tank and they did a spectacular job!

Have not found any reviews on this skimmer so here is my attempt.
First off this thing is a Monster, well built. I hope it skim's as well as it is in the Brute can.
Too breaking-in the new skimmer. Placed it in a 44 gallon Brute trash can. Have been pouring old Skimmate in their. Hope this helps speed up the process? Have a Sump just for the skimmer on the way. will keep this updated.

PS don't laugh at the music kids thought it was funny.
