  1. dsoz, let me know next week if you are still interested. i will post some pics of my frogspawn.
  2. Thanks for the info, CA2OR. dsoz, what color frogspawn do you have? Mine is bright green.
  3. Looking for smallish frags of LPS, mostly acans, micros, chalices, but other stuff would be nice too. Nothing too pricey... I'm a college student, after all. I have a bright green frogspawn and hammer to trade, also.
  4. It does have a built in overflow, just not the overflow box.
  5. Ya, sorry about that. I am asking $1000 for everything. I could possibly help transport/deliver if needed.
  6. I have recently taken down my 125 gallon TruVu system that was setup as a reef tank since July '08. The tank is 6' long, which is great for fish that need lots of swimming room. The stand and hood are cherry and are in good condition overall. The sump is built into the stand and it's about 20g. Also included is a return pump and lighting system. The lighting consists of 4x54w T5HO and 2x110w VHO running on a PFO ballast and a workhorse ballast. The lighing could be modified to include a couple metal halides pretty easily. The system does not include a refugium, but one could be added with some plumbing modifications (which I could do if you wanted). This system is ideal for someone who wants to setup a large reef tank, but could still suit a fish only system well. Please email me with questions. sakkos09@gmail.com http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/for/1076253553.html
  7. I've got a 6' tank setup, but selling it together. It's here: http://www.pnwmas.org/forums/showthread.php?t=10303&page=2
  8. 4x2x2 is a nice size. I liked this one because it gave the fish a lot of length to swim along and they were great to watch.
  9. I have finally cleaned out the tank and posted it for sale. Let me know if you have any questions. http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/for/1059541383.html
  10. RO unit has been sold, pending payment. Tunze is still available. I would also be willing to trade for a pH meter, LPS, zoas, mushrooms/rics.
  11. I have a Reefkeeper Typhoon III and a Tunze 6080 pump for sale. The Reefkeeper has hardly been used, just sat around for about 2 years. The Tunze was used for about 6 months. Both are in good working condition. Asking 100 for each. Reefkeeper Tunze Please email me at sakkos09@gmail.com. I don't check this site that often, so I might not respond to your PM for a bit.
  12. All of the rock and sand has been sold, along with the Tunze 6100 and controller. I still have a Tunze 6080 left. The tank and stand will be up for sale shortly. I just have to clean it out first. It is a TruVu 72x18x20 125 gallon tank. The stand is cherry (I think) and it has sump (20g+) that is setup below. I will be including the hood and lighting equipment, as well. It has 4x54w T5s and 2x110w VHO actinics.
  13. one large 20+ lb piece of rock left. any takers?
  14. Still have 30+ lbs of large pieces of LR and 30+ lbs of LS
  15. about half of the rock and most of the sand is gone. I have pictures of the rock. Mostly medium/large pieces. Its very nice stuff. As far as equipment goes, I have a Typhoon III 5 stage RO/DI unit $100, Tunze Turbelle Stream 6080 2150 gph $100, another adjustable Tunze w/ controller and light sensor $250. I have lots of other random equipment. mostly smaller pumps, powerheads, and heaters Please email me for pictures Jonathan
  16. I have probably 200 lbs aragonite/crushed coral LS $.50/lb and 50-100 lbs mostly fiji premium LR $3/lb. I might also be willing to trade, depending on what you have to offer. Also, if you want to take all of the LS or LR or both, I would be willing to cut you a better deal. All of this is from my 120g reef that I just took down last weekend. I have lots of random pieces of equipment that I have for sale as well. Please email or call: 707.758.6693 or sakkos09@gmail.com Jonathan
  17. I would like a 24" cube, preferrably, but one of the 65 or 70 gallon aqueon or oceanic 3' long tanks would be great, too. Also looking for a sump that would fit under a cube, so less than 2' long. please email me at sakkos09@gmail.com if you are interested.
  18. I am very interested in your tank. can you send me some pictures? sakkos09@gmail.com thanks
  19. I will try to take some pics when I get started. Yes, there is a big difference in starphire vs regular, but mostly in thicker glass. check this out: http://www.glasscages.com/?sAction=ViewCat&lCatID=58 IMO, for the thickness of glass I will be using, it is not worth the additional cost. Starphire is significantly more expensive
  20. 3/8" it is, then. I have never built a tank before, so I'll probably just use clean silicon. What would you suggest for lighting? I was thinking a 150W/250W 10K MH with 1-2 24" actinic VHOs.
  21. Why is black silicon so much harder to work with? I think I am going to wait until I can find some cheap glass on craigslist. I almost had two huge sheets for $20, but they were 3/16. If I make the tank out of 3/8" glass all around, do I have to add braces around the top, or can it be rimless?
  22. hmm. If you don't mind me asking, what size tank did you order and how much is it going to be? I think I have decided on a 24" cube and I would like to do this somewhat cheaply. I will be building the stand and hood myself.
