I would rinse it in saltwater just to be safe. That way stuff lives and you get an junk out.

I hear you there. It is always a risk with Dwarf Angels though I have had many that are model citizens.

 

NOBODY go to Garrets shop he didnt get anything good "Chevron Tang" LOL!!!!!! Actually everyone Garret got in some gorgeous stuff as usual i was there watching him unpack everything and it was like christmas i bought 6 fish and wish i could have gotten more especially the chevron man if it is there come the first of next month he will be sold thanks for today man had a blast' date=' and the new fish are doing awesome in the tank there still trying to figure out the pecking order think im going to have to get something to terrorize the purple tang. thanks again man[/quote']

 

Glad you were able to grab some fish my friend! You got some super nice stuff and your tank is probably looking amazing right about now. The Chevron is pretty rad but unfortunatley I doubt it will be here by the 1st

There are a couple of nice Cali Tort Colonies, A couple of maricultured colonies, there is a nice Larry Jackson Tricolor, a bonsai, a jewel stag, a Bennet Yellow Tort, and lots of nice various frags. I think there is still a piece of the Pro Corals Superman Acro, A Tyree Pink Lemonade, and several other nice frags.

The Hawaiian order came in with some amazingness to be sure. There are several really nice Blue Tangs, a couple dozen Smaller Yellow Tangs(real nice size), some stunning Hawaiian and Christmas Island Flame Angels, the Lemon Peel Angels look way nice, The Tahitian Orange Peel Angels are stunning, and there are two MASSIVELY NICE Hawaiian Potters Wrasses that came in. The Chevron Tang is one of the nicest fish I have ever seen and will probably go quick so jump on it if you have ever wanted one.

Hello everyone!!!

I have some awesome stuff coming straight from Hawaii tomorrow!! There should be a ton of nice fish including a bunch of Yellow Tangs, Flame Angels, Orange Shoulders, Naso Tangs, Lemon and Orange Peel Angels, a bunch of other goodies, and there is even going to be one of those fabled Chevron Tangs arriving.

If you do the math, per gram icgel comes out about the same if not a little cheaper than the 3 packs at the dollar store. I have switched to using it almost exclusively and to be honest it's so much thicker and works so much better that I would probably use it most of the time anyway. The echotech glue is also real thick and equates out to be very similar in price per gram as well. We have all of it in at the shop and Icgel is only $8.99 here. Stock up next time you are in if it makes sense. I know I used to buy it at some stores for $12-$15. It's just a good glue all around and really is worth the price.

Not a bad little pistol at all! I have a Ruger LCP, an LC9, and an SR40 and alternate carrying them depending on the situation. I have a couple other Ruger firearms as well and have enjoyed all of them.

Definitely spend some time at the range and blow through some rounds. Make sure and shoot the type of round you intend to have in your gun when you carry. Also, I like to blow through all the rounds I carry, about every 4-6 months. This way I know I am replacing the magazines with fresh carry rounds. Primers can get gunked up if you carry often and you definitely want to make sure and have fresh, clean, reliable ammunition when it's needed most.

Nate makes a very good point. Used fixtures can be had on the cheap and can be found in great shape. I have a few at the shop that may interest you as well.

Both are nice fixtures but if I were you I would look in to getting a nice TEK fixture. They are built really well and have really nice reflectors. Plus they look real clean. If you want, I can show you some options if you want to swing by the shop. Give me a buzz if you would rather chat on the phone.

Hi everyone,

I usually don't post much of the equipment that we get in here on the site but I got some really nice stuff in from a couple of recent tank tear downs and I thought you all might like a chance at it first.

First up is an Ecotech Marine VorTech MP10ES- This unit comes in it's original box with foam gaurd, spaces, manuals, etc. and is in great shape. The wet side has a bit of coraline algae on it but it is in great working order and one heck of a little pump. This unit was used for right around 1 year and I was the original seller so I know the customer very well and he takes incredible care of his stuff. $189! (SOLD- Karen)

Second up is a Reef Angel Controller- Used for less than two months and is in like new condition. This unit is from the same tank breakdown. Comes with 2 float switches, an 8 outlet box, Controller to USB cable(Purchased in addition to the unit originally), an LED moonlight module(purchased as an upgrade), temp probe, a few random other cables, and an unopened pH probe. Awesome controller at an awesome price. Very easy to program with several great forums and awesome support. This thing can control nearly anything you can think of and has many additional modules if you want to get crazy. $175!

Third up is a 36" Nova Extreme Pro- 6 bulb t-5 unit with legs and 2 month old ATI lamps. Really good-Excellent condition and it comes with the original box. (SOLD- Summer)
