  1. the mag 7 can be modded and usually does a great job if its your only pump we can do it and you can get some desent numbers from it usually around 800 due to its a semi pressure pump, but a oct 3000 once modded like ccr it was able to pull almost 1100 lph after modding before was around 600-700 so its a major difference, if you chose a ocean runner they have alot more power behind them and come stock about 700-800 and modding them will get you abouot 1400 lph, and if you use a 1260 ehiem you can get 1200 lph modded and a 1262 around 1800 lph some times even more depends on skimmer and venturi.

  2. ok so i decided to dive into the whole t-5 thing by purchasing 8 individual t-5's for 45 each 3 months ago. But after reading on about individual reflectors ive decided to sell these to get the individual reflectors (which i got from h2ocooled thanks again) and get the ic 660( which im still waiting on the freakin check reefgeek) and a ic 430 and of course endcaps and ATI bulbs. but i guess i rushed and bought before thinking lol so my loss is your gain. they are individual fixtures without reflectors or water proof endcaps. have seen them first hand and they do work well but im wanting just the best. i have 6 6500k bulbs and 2 pacific coast imports actinics, also you are able to daisy chain up to 4 together if you wish with no powder loss. each one is 30 plus shipping or cheaper if you buy more then one and 240 for the whole thing they are brand new lite for 20 minutes max.

  3. ok well well ive used it atleast 25 times with atleast 10k worth of coral i did not see any color lose or anything most works actually had their polys out during the drip, but it did kill all aefw for sure didnt have to do anything other then do about 90 drops for 8L and in about 10 minutes. so with personal experience i see no reason why this wouldnt work perfectly and cheaper. also keep in mind he left the coral in that solution for 25 minutes thats way too long normally in 15 it killed everything on that coral including cop's, sep strs, algea, crabs (if left in the coral), mysis, redbugs, aefw(adults not eggs) and anything else. if you want to waste your money on that product go ahead im just trying to make it cheaper for the poor reefs out there.

  4. they work OK they have to be modded in order to work well their LPH is very very low maybe 400 max modded is about 600 you are better off using a oct pump like the 2000 or 3000 they have the ability to get 1000 or more after modding. in my view its a clone of a clone

  5. seen them in action they do work but dang does that motor and belt make some loud and wierd noise i would recommend staying away from this.

  6. yup they do and euro reef uses a gen x 6000 and h&s uses aquabees and upper models ehiem 1260's, the think im really just stuck on is lph of air asm is unknown but im guessiing if they use the same pumps as euro did before it was around 480 lph and the euros get about 900-1200 lph and h&s with the aquabees gets 480 lph and with the ehiem they get 800-900 lph
