Odd My 6" pink BN just turned white over night. Nothing else affective. Was able to save some of it, well 2 half in. pieces. Very frustrating indeed. Will be testing in a couple of minutes. Tank has been very stable. So this will be interesting.

cured and smoked pastrami: Yum I have a large gas 4 burner griddle that I'm cooking with most of the time. I like chicken, shrimp,fish. I'm always changing it around marinating the chicken for a couple of days. Better than the grill restaurant.

I can donate some birdnest frags if in the neighbor hood.

I think donating and swapping frags from healthy colonies has always been a good idea as we never know when disaster may strike our own tanks. People with some of the more rare pieces, ora and others, may do them selves good by sharing. Kinda a bank you can get a piece back from. Self protection so to say.

You will know a melt down as it will literately fall apart. If this happens remove ASAP and do a water change and carbon. Till then a little less flow and just weight. It will let go of it's hold if it wants to move. It may be getting ready to purge. If it starts turning inside out. ALEAVE IT ALONE but keep an eye on it. No feeding, or bothering it till it's done.

I bleach. Soak and extra rinse. Then run en through the dryer. I never have had a problem.

It doesn't help to leave out a picture. Personnlay I don't buy site unseen.

Did you check Lum Yen on Portland Rd? Every body could order what the want for way less and there very fast. Best Chinese in town!!! They have a large buffet room.
