  1. Important to note: Coral and saltwater is only at new wilsonville store. The original location in Newberg has no salt.

Rods full line of foods, but no lrs:(

Ahh gotcha. Didn't know there was a wilsonville store

  2. C&c and premium aquarium are awesome shops. Because the owners and employees are good and knowledgeable. Critter cabana in wilsonville has a shockingly good selection of corals and even stock Apex and accessories....plus, the selection of other pets will keep your significant others attention whilst you geek out looking through 1000gallons of coral:)

I gotta check out critter cabana. I was there maybe a Month ago and there was no saltwater. I know you help out there now. Can you see if they can carry LRS fish and reef frenzy?

  3. Welcome to Beaverton. I live near the Murray and scholls ferry road intersection in Beaverton. Closest reef store is probably upscales and cuttlefish and corals. You can always find deals here in the classifieds or Craigslist.

  4. This could be an option, what does every one else think? All in all with so many participants the buy in should be relatively cheap, in the $20 range, maybe $30. I have to see what shipping will be and the price for both rocks but it should still be rather affordable.

2 side by side is a great idea. Let's do this. If one melts, then at least we can still be in.

What'd the guys say? That it's all good in your tank for its entire life, or that you'd have to upgrade your tank or give it away to someone with a larger tank in the future? Just curious.

  6. For me #1 would be the premium aquarium. Owner Garrett is a super nice guy, shop is immaculate and fish selection rocks. #2 would be cuttlefish.

  7. I was inquiring to buy aiptasia when I first started....well only because they were one of the few "corals" that were available at A to Z pets (are they still around?) at that time. Good thing a nice person talked some sense into me.

  8. You got really lucky. I must have dealt with 4 different reps asking the same questions the previous ones did. It's like the previous one got fired and the emails went along with them. After that I just ignored them altogether as it was pretty much a cycle. I still got taken care of but by jeff at cuttlefish instead.

  9. Supposedly these are the brightest rbtas around and originally came from upscales/steve weast. Anyone heard of the story of the Sherman rbta and do you have a clone? I'm not sure if what I have is from the original source. I got it as a clone from a guy in newberg maybe 10 years ago. Forgot his name and screen name but he was the original webmaster of this forum.

  10. Who here feed live/frozen/freeze dried black worms to their fish? I came across an article by paulb on reef2reef about never having any diseases in all his decades of fish keeping and he owes it all to the black worms that he feeds.

I just bought some live black worms from world of wet pets and will give them a try. I was really looking for frozen (since I don't have to maintain the culture) but that's all they have.
