  2. what is that black smoke???? (huh)

And remember the big mystery animal from the first season that moved the trees, where did it go? is it in hibernation?

My favorite flashbacks are the boy, Walt, doing magic, curly and his craziness (nutty) and lottery numbers, the time traveling european, and the lady with the cancer. The rest are ehh, and i wish i could fast forward all of kates ones.

i hope this season we find out the point of the dharma project.

  3. um ok. heres our most recent pic of loke (right) and localboi808 (left) right after our office party winter luau. You wont see us at the monthly meetings- we work every Sunday so we'll only be able to make the really big club events since we both gotta take vacation.

  4. now i'm keeping a colorful softie tank, awhiles ago i was thinking about a mixed reef but i leave home too often and get paranoid when i'm away so decided to stick with the hardier corals. i then was going for the softie corals to be all cool colors, while the fish are warm colors so the fish would stand out, but the pink psudochromis looks purple in the tank, and I couldn't resist on a good deal of warm colored yuma's and zoas.

  5. Well' date=' I know if I'm drunk and play the Wii... something will get broken! (laugh)[/quote']

lol did you hear about the broken tvs? wear your wriststrap! (laugh)

i have one I LOVE zelda, and bowling!

  6. Is there one method that has a higher success rate? I think I'll start with the numerous discomas, and as my fragging confidence builds, work my way up to the yumas since some of them are single polyp frags.

    1. bridal veil

    2. razor

    3. yogurt cup

    4. crushed coral

    got it!

  7. i read once that mushrooms can self reproduce by moving and leaving a piece of foot behind that adventually turns into another mushroom. That said, can I slice a piece of the foot of a mushroom (and it wont kill the mushroom) and a baby will grow from the severed piece?

  9. could'nt be spawning as he is the only clown in the tank unless we have an immaculate conception going on. I have talked to this fish about the mess he or she is making' date=' but to no avail. [/quote']

    (laugh)

I had a blue damsel do that, and its supposed to be a common territorial behavior. Since clowns and damsels are related somehow, I assume yours is doing it for the same reason.

  10. who is this loke person????

Hello all, my name is Tammy, 25ish orginally from kailua hawaii. Never had an interest in saltwater until i moved away from the warm ocean to live here some 4 years ago. I live in beaverton, work at Intel on compressed workweek, and am working towards a computer science degree. I'm ex-military, and although i have never steped in the sandbox, I've had "the pleasure" of just recently being the significant other waiting back home while my soldiers in iraq. I have two tanks right now a hex and a cube, which are both a work in progress. When we buy a house next year im definately upgrading! I like outdoors stuff, and reef tanks, keeping plants, SOMETIMES i like video games, shopping, traveling and photography. btw, my screen name is Loke (low-kay), which is hawaiian for rose (and part of my middle name).Thats all for now, hope to see you around!!!

  11. I wish online vendors would take a 2nd picture with the flash on from a normal side view. I dont have 20k lighting nor look at my corals from a top down view so I would have to guestimate what the color really is in my tank. I've actually heard praise from other forums on the online website guy (adam) but the prices are too outrageous for me... and the whole color misleading thing doesnt help...

  12. my house made it through the thursday storm without any power loss. however; saturday evening a power station caught on fire-. No power for 24 hours (scary) ! Luckily i had read this thread before it went pitch black and picked up acouple tips... 24 hours later i have no fish loss, and the only coral loss i had was one mushroom from a colony that I bought that day! so yeah, thanks!

  13. Bibingka

I'm not real big on filipino food, but I like this one.

Its kind of a semi gooey dessert, but not too sweet :).

    Bibingka (bee-bing-ka)

1 lbs Mochiko Flour (Asian store, Uwajimiya has it)

    2 tsp baking powder

    1.5 cup milk

    4 eggs

1 can coconut milk (Asian store, Uwajimiya has it)

    1 cup brown sugar

    1 cup white sugar

    1.5 tsp vanilla extract

    1 block butter (melted)

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Still well with mixer (Get out all the lumps).

    Pour into 9x13 greased pan

Allow 4-5 mins for air to escape

Bake @ 350 degrees for up to 1 hour, use the toothpick method

(The corners should be just turning golden brown)

Allow some time to cool, cut into pieces and serve!
