I shouldn't have to say it- Never mix bleach with vinegar or muriatic acid...

Great colors- We need to see bigger pictures... Have you used photobucket, or some other website to upload photos?

i had thought i heard those kits where unreliable. I use a seachem CA test and I'm pretty happy with it.

Having used both Salifert and Seachem and my experience as a chemist- I would take the Salifert test kit any day over the Seachem. Just my two cents.

I've tested using both Seachem (NH3, NO2, NO3, Alk, Ca, pH) and Salifert (Ca and Alk)- I prefer the Salifert.

Beach combing has always been the main attraction for me at the coast. I hear people whining that they never find any cool shells' date=' I always find a ton. On my last trip to the beach I brought back about thirty fossilized shells.[/quote']

This article reminded me how much fun I had as a kid (and as a parent with my own kids) exploring Hood Canal during low tide.

I've got a CPR bak pak 2R... It works fine- I haven't used any other skimmer so I really can't say it works better or worse than something else.
