I have these 2 frags for sale $15 each

Bumpity. Great light for a nano!! Only $40!!

What fish do you have?

The UV shield is in the glass on SE bulbs, so you don't need the glass on the fixture

I am using 2 on my cube and I think its 1/2", but it could be only 3/8" I will measure it when i get home tonight and let ya know. Either way, i had to use the cord holders that come with them, and kind of hang the dry side where i wanted them to be. Without the cord holders, they would slide down to the bottom. But they have been running strong this way for over a year now.

Very cool, i like that it comes with unions on the input and output. Now THAT is handy!

I no longer need this great little MH setup. This worked great on my older frag tanks as well as QT tanks. Comes with pretty much brand new 20k bulb $40

Yah its a pretty quick change. I am noticing SPS coloring up already as well, and I have only had it over my tank for 8 days now.
I am going to up the output tonight to a max of 35/45/45. I plan to up it 5% every week until i get to 60%.
By the way, i picked up the AI controller thru hello lights for $74 its pretty sweet and really easy to use.

Maybe pics will help. Both of these are very lightly used. Maybe a total of 18m on the ballast.

Garrett I'm a Reef Crystals guy, can you pm me a price?
-
Mine starts ramping up at 8am to a max of 30%/40%/40% W/B/RY from 12-3, then ramps back down until 9pm

Yous should have 70 degree optics on the outside 4 pucks, and 40 degrees on the inside 4. Thats how they come new. You can order new optics from AI and they are very simple to replace. But I think 70 and 40 are the only options at this point. Hung at 12" off the water line should cover a 24X24 area and be pretty close to a 250W MH as far as PAR goes. I can confirm this having done the tests when I switched mine out and I only tested the Sol at 75%. The LED looked dimmer, but had the same PAR readings, or better.

I saw this on that other site. This design is so much better than the previous. And it looks like it gets just as good results! Nice job
