Algae
I recently bought this LARGE example of Cynarina deshayesiana (Borneman says lacrymalis). They are often confused with Scolys. I think many people are more used to the often translucent Cynarina Lacrymalis (which I love, and I feel are also an underated coral). You can see even see a couple of examples Cyanarina in the "Show Me Your Scloy" thread. The wholesaler also had this labeled as a Scoly! The septa of Cynarina are sharp & pointed as opposed to the Scolys, ridgelike form. (I was gentle and still put a small, sharp tooth through the flesh. DOH! Below is a link to Brneman on Scolys: http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2007-11/reefslides/index.php
