I just tested my water and here is the results: KH................... Salifert 10.2 Tetra 8-9* API 9-10* *=(sometimes hard to tell which drop caused the correct color change) PH................ Tetra 8.0 API 8.2-8.4* *=(again hard to tell the difference between colors on chart) CA................ Salifert 440 API 440 Mg................. RedSea 1360 (want bump this up a touch) Temp................ 78-79 (this is w/o MHs, with MHs it is closer to 80-81) Salinity............ 1.026 on a swing arm (I know I know.....) So I know this has been talked about before, but what have you found out with your results on different test kits? Close? Far off? Show your results if you can. I will need replacement kits soon so I am curious what you guys like and dis-like. I am going to look into Elos kits but to be honest I kinda like the API kits. Lowman Posted April 17, 2009 Share Posted April 17, 2009 I have the Elos KH kit and the salifert kh, they are identical with their results. But the Elos kit is very difficult to see the color change.
