Beckie
I think it may be time to invest in one. What brands and how hard is it to calabrate?(scratch) Thanks Beckie
CCR
It isn't hard AT ALL TO CALIBRATE. There are severall different ones out there. Foster & Smith carries them but don't get the cheapest one. You do get what you pay for.
wanareef
I use ro/di water to calibrate it but check it's calibrations before I use it. Just a couple of drops of tank water on the glass, flip over the plastic cover and point toward a light source and look inside. That nob on top is the adjuster. this model is the "simple one" others have a "lighted" background.
CA2OR
I just got one from Aquaticus for under $70 and it works great. Was very easy to calibrate. Don't know if there is difference in makers though so don't bank on my experience.
