Algae Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Does anyone have experience with ACJR ground loop isolator? Is it really needed for extended computer control of ACJR to eliminate error free readings? Quote
Algae Posted February 5, 2009 Author Posted February 5, 2009 No need to reply. It was on Ebay for 20.00 including shipping. In online stores it goes for 45.00. If I blew 20.00, oh well. Guess I need the controller now. http://cgi.ebay.com/Neptune-Systems-AquaController-SERIPC9-Serial-Connector_W0QQitemZ290277998102QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item290277998102&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A15%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 Quote
Smann Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 If you can connect your controller to your router (ethernet) you can then access it thru the network. I think the AC3 has the ethernet port, you might check before you buy to make sure the jr has a connection Quote
andy Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 The Jr. doesn't have an ethernet connection -- the opto-isolator is needed only if you plan on leaving the controller connected to your PC. It isn't needed for now-and-then use. Quote
