dj_giantti Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I am finally upgrading my 125 to a 210. This should be a lot of fun and stressful at the same time. Here are some pictures of my current 125. I will start taking it down tonight. Quote
fredknack Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 That will be cool being able to setup a new larger system. LOTS of work. Good luck! Post pictures as you go. Quote
dj_giantti Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 I will I just started taking all the live stock out. Here is the tub that I will drain the tanks water into and all set all my fish and coral in. I am going to try to keep as much water as possible. Quote
MadReefer Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Very cool. I hope it all goes smooth. Quote
dj_giantti Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Thanks me to. Tank with no hood. Left of the tank is my frag tank where I will put a lot of the smaller corals. The frag tank is connected to the 125. Quote
dj_giantti Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Taking a break from the tank. Here are some more pictures. Water and some bigger corals in the tub Frag tank is pretty much full. Quote

dj_giantti Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Here are pictures of the tank all drained. . I have two 55g trash barrels and 1 29g trash barrel that I have saltwater mixing is the garage. I ran the water through a RO unit. Each trash barrel has a heater in it set at 78 degrees and a power head. Quote
dj_giantti Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 I can get you pictures of all the frags I have once the tank is all setup. I know it will be a late night but I want to get it all done tonight. lol Quote
CA2OR Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 well good luck with that. Remember, read my signature, it speaks the truth Quote
dj_giantti Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Tank and stand is out of the fish room and the new stand is in. Quote
dj_giantti Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Stand with sump. I made my own sump using a 55g long. I had to take apart the front part of the stand to get the sump in. We got the tank in with only two people. It was really scary, they tank alone had to have been over 400lbs. Quote
dj_giantti Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 I used a lot of the old sand from the 125g. The sand was only 6 months old and it did not smell to bad so I thought I was pretty safe. It took about 3 hours to fill the tank. I used about 80 gallons of water form the 125 and the rest was new. dj_giantti Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Last night I was only able to put a few chucks of rock in the tank but I stopped at that because the water was so murky from the fill. I put a 250 MH over the bin I am keeping my corals and fish in just to keep them happy. Picture of my frag tank Quote
