impur Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I posted this in the TEC forum but it really belongs here Got my pack from Jody and Keith on wednesday. Let them float in the sump until i got off work acclimated over a few hours and into my tank. Boy these are some beauties as usual. Mean green zoas with a bunch of polyps and great color! The TEC war coral is just amazing, such a deep red and together with the green is just amazing. The mummy eye chalice is tiny but has great color, this one is going to be a top fav of mine. And the rainbow acan is unreal. So many colors. Thanks again guys, love the frags and a perfect transaction as usual. Keep it up!!! Miles Quote
downhill_biker Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 you better post them tonight. i am anxious to see, especially the acan. Quote

downhill_biker Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 LOL> that is a freaking funny comment. I didn't think you were smart enough to come up with something like that. I guess it is something you are used to. Drooling is just a part of your life, but I wont judge you for it. Quote
impur Posted January 3, 2009 Author Posted January 3, 2009 Yah i got home and that acan i got from you curtis 2 of the polyps were half gone as well as the one baby polyp that had grown. I don't know why or what happened. I moved it up on a frag tray, i'm going to dip it today i think. I can't tell if its some kind of worm or a bacteria or what. Very odd and unfortunate. Quote

impur Posted January 5, 2009 Author Posted January 5, 2009 Thanks Curtis. I just don't know what happened. One day perfect the next day terrible. So far its holding on, 1 polyp 3/4s left, 1 polyp 1/4 left and 2 half polyps. Wonder why all the polyps half died? Anyway here are the pics!!! The mummy eye is tiny so very tough to get a pic. Its actually grown slightly in the last few days so thats cool TEC war coral Mean green zoas rainbow acan Quote
CA2OR Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 nice I got an ID for my coral thanks to this thread. The TEC war coral? I like your stuff, just dont like small frags. Quote
mrgreenthumb Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 they do grow fast at least and imo well worth the money, but then again its all subjective to what you like and "have to have" i'm a chalice connoisseur i want them all haha Quote
CA2OR Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 I can understand that. They are very nice pieces. Quote
impur Posted January 7, 2009 Author Posted January 7, 2009 My favorite part is growing them from tiny frags to large colonies. Then i get to frag them and do it all over again. Thats the fun IMO. Quote
markdadof2 Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 I have been able to grow out some of my corals and frag them, just can't wait for my larger tank so I can add MORE and MORE to grow and give out! I think that is one of the best things in this hobby - trading and sharing frags and such. Quote
