downhill_biker
I can't figure out what this is. Its somewhat hard and rubbery, and doesn't break apart real easily. It was in a semi-circle and raised above the sand bed. The only thing I saw near it was a fighting conch earlier today. Does anyone have an ID for this "sand turd"... This is it as it was laying: This is it when I picked it up:
andy
It's not alive, right? Some kind of slime left behind?
downhill_biker
No its not alive. I was thinking that it may be some kind of snail/conch egg nest. I just dont know. Normally they dont leave anything large enough to see behind, but this thing is about 3" across.
